imagine rolling and someone bumps into you , you look around to see who is that guy who dared to interrupt your roll and try to give them a dirty look .... AAAND its GSP and Gordon Ryan
Ground and pound, tap or nap. Pick your poison.
Except they're in your gym so you wouldn't be surprised. Grow up.
@@echocharlie1398 sheeesh big boi )))
i'd sort'm both out
@@echocharlie1398 exactly.
I bet Georges was impressed with Gordon's performance.
lol
Great callback
Absolutely, just as I'm sure Gordon was impressed with Georges. Two legends, great to see.
GSP is a hybrid MMA wrestler. Gordon is just on another level however. Super cool to watch!
Matt Hughes
That foot sweep is fire
The sickest thing is that he planned it way ahead.
Effortless
I was about to say the same thing. haha!
That was crazy.....lol.
De ashi harai
Please just upload the whole round next time. This is absolute gold!
That please
It’s only designed to show his single leg defense and foot sweeps
Gotta give flo $300 to access that kind of content kid. Get your money up
@@andrewsimcox5507 I'll pass on that. Lol
2:11 that sweep on GSP is so crisp.
Never seen ANYONE handle George like that. Gordon is the MJ of no gi jiu jitsu
Like when DC did that to Hendo, silky smooth.
This!
That’s why Georges had such a big smile on his face afterwards.
It was like a like a lion pawing a gazelle 😄😁
Look how fast GSP is. His reaction time is very impressive for his age. And with all that he’s been through as well. Looking good Champ!!!
GSP said it himself that there are drugs now improving reaction time. Since he is a millionaire and not in USADA test pool he might be taking aaaall the drugs just like Gordon
@@hagestadI highly doubt that
@@lesterburdick6543 Why? Its not like they even are on USADA banned list. At least i don't think so. IF you doubt his statement he said in on JRE podcast so there is that.
@@hagestad Maybe, doesn't seem like GSP's style though. Always struck me as a guy that truly does things in moderation. Maybe a little gear, but I couldn't see him getting juiced to the gills. Of course I don't know him personally so what do I know lol
@@hagestadbut now that he’s a retired professional, the motivation to use is gone though as well
Gordon showing a lot of respect by letting him escape every position
He seems to always do that when sparring in gym
I think the idea is to let him reset and get more reps on a particular position. But that could just be how they cut the video.
For sure
That's how sparring and flowing works lol. GSP showing a lot of respect not taking steroids and KOing gordon on the mat... yeah that doesnt sound right lol
That's pretty common.
You don't train to dominate, you train to practice.
george st. Pierre is a well rounded fighter.. one of the best in his prime!
you don't say
@@Zerosk8333 what?
@@richardbarton6146 Let me rephrase what he said for you.
"No shit".
@@Zerosk8333 such a smart ass!
The best
It's always fun to watch two of the greatest of all time on the mat training together with love and mutual respect for each other.
Yup with one of the greats coaching/watching right there.
Conor is goat
I'm a big fan of Conor. When it comes to being the Goat, are you talking MMA/UFC or jiu jitsu?
Like Henry and DJ training, it's always good to see two Greats together in the dojo.
1:35 Love that.
Oof that foot sweep was pretty
Georges is the epitome of a true martial artist, doesn't need to be competing to be training, challenging himself and developing his skills.
Yeah, I would love to watch the entire thing, completely unedited, and then see some discussion with the guys at the end of the session. Total respect for both athletes. You could see that Ryan was toying with GSP, but it's still impressive that GSP trains with monsters five years after retiring.
Gordon does everything with calm. Scary to think that he still hasn't reached his prime. As always, great video Flow Grappling! 🥋
Na he’s in his prime now. Now he has maybe a decade to make the most of it.
@John Colombo bruh men are in their physical prime at 25-35
He’s on juice who cares
@John Colombo Strength and muscle maturity peaks in early to mid 30s. Scientifically proven. You're at your strongest after 30 and before 40.
Cardio may go down a bit, and injury prevention and healing might become more difficult, plus old injuries stack up (which is why most athletes retire). But if you train smart, you will be at your best after 30.
@@andrewjackson3959 best take
Love that arm drag back take. Amazes me how easy he makes it look to get to someone’s back.
Respect for Georges St-Pierre because at 2:10 I could help but laugh, but Georges had a bigger smile on his face than I did.
always awesome to see George training. Thanks for posting.
Loved the sweep. Pierre did, too. He was grinning. He's a great sportsman.
George when he gets trip but has a big smile 😃 on his face , these guys are beasts and love the game . Awesome to see two warriors training thank you for this vid .
They Both respect Skill !! They know what it takes to get there ! Whole Lotta heart !!
Thank you for sharing this. Magical match up 💪
Love seeing George laughing when tripped up. Both beauties
so fun to watch these two guys.....memorizing at times.
its crazy how casual some of those ppl in the background look. literally two of the best combat sports athletes on the planet going at it in front of them
That lateral drop is so smooth
We need more content like this!!!
George is humble and a great sport.
Great to see this kind of training. The best in the world are often training pretty light it would seem. Lots of reps !
George always reminds us that he is no expert of any martial arts... But a genius in mixing them up.
I think a black belt in Kyokushin makes him an expert in that area.
What's an expert? The guy having the local gym is an expert at his art. Im pretty sure we can call GSP an expert at the few martial arts he practiced for 20+ years...
He wasn't even close to Gordon's level, but the guy is the heavyweight GOAT in his prime, nobody is at his level
@@KiimiKooooo heavyweight?
@@KiimiKooooo welterweight
Pretty dumb comment. His level of expertise in many martial arts is without a doubt world class level. lol
Truly impressive how GSP resisted the temptation to do a superman punch and jab.
Gordon's trips are awesome
There’s a moment when GSP looks even frustrated. Unbelievable
This is absolutely amazing!
A lot of respect each other. 2 men with expérience. Whaouh
Good to see GSP get back into it it’s been a long time these two guys totally different age groups you can see the respect on both guys now you get GSP his younger days will be a different outcome it’s good to see two people respect each other
Humble from knowing he’s amongst the best but not at everything. Awesome exchange.
Those foot sweeps are nasty! Even GSP was dumbfounded at how he was getting swept so easily. Gordon is the GOAT.
turn it into MMA and GSP destroys the steroid Gordon
@@benzun9600 Well yeah everyone knows that, doesnt change that Gordon is absolutely incredible.
@@benzun9600 no shit Sherlock put pure grappling in this scenario Gordon beats him.
@@benzun9600 everyone knows that lol
@@benzun9600 thank you Captain Obvious. Calm down. Show us all where Gordon hurt you.
Oh my word, this is so great!!
That trip at the end was pretty wild.
The GOAT of MMA and the GOAT of No-Gi Jiu Jitsu going at it!
2:11 That dude in the back slowly shaking his head xDDD Poor GSP
2 GOATS
That looked like a good solid respectful roll! No having to go balls to the wall!
The respect earned and given 🫡
Love to see it. 💯
2 legends
1:04 that leg take was smooth. Very cool to see.
What’s crazy is Gordon was giving George his props, he did not want to dominate him, he actually let him out of several scenarios where he could have destroyed him. Props to Gordon for not making George feel like he was inadequate.
it's called sparring lol
Gordon Ryan taking it easy with the MMA GOAT. That foot sweep was savage though. 😆👌
Gsp could have taken him down easily Gordon wrestling sucks
@@PoopythePlumber yah sure he could have. Lol
Love GSP, but hes levels below Gordon in the ground game
@@mikemacdude nope not really he's far superior than him om the ground just not BJJ, Ryans awareness, prowess, and grip his out of this world and is quite a lot better at BJJ than GSP, but when you add pankration and wrestling into the mixed GSP has mastered all of these and is still a black belt in bjj, so Ryan is unfortunately not better than him by any means on the ground, but just superior at bjj.
@@bmakinbacon if they fought, Ryan would stangle GSP without punching and kicking. He outweighs him by 50lbs of muscle. There is no way GSP beats him on the ground under any circumstances
@mikemacdude it depends, if they fought mma or bjj, because in mma there is weight class and they would have to match weight and then if it was bjj well then yeah Ryan would smack him
that foot sweep at 2:10 is filthy :D
Perfect rolling
Gordon's takedowns have improved sooo damn much, insane!
Georges with the sweep kick reversal.
Hell yeah. Legends.
GSP is one of the best grappling artists the UFC has ever seen and the much younger/less experienced Ryan just plays with him.Unreal.
Obviously Gordon will win if this was a pure grappling matchup. GSP always said he was not really an expert in any single particular martial art but has high level knowledge of they work together. With that being said, GSP is great at mixing things up.
Amazing
GSP is a freak of nature
wholesome roll
Cool to see Gordon rolls just like he professes. He does it like he says it.
2:10
Master class
That sweep looked effortless
Ryan always looks so patient, his movements so purposeful, no waisted movements. You can see that slick single George has, his wrestling thoroughbred. I was there for the glory days of GSP. So much dog in him. He was never the biggest, or the most naturally talented. But no one wanted it as much.
Would love to hear some insight from both grapplers on the other. They're both some of the most gifted athletes of our generation.
bruh they both went on the lex fridmen podcast together with danaher. watch that
@@ethanbirch7033 thanks bro
Gotta love watching gsp laugh and enjoy the ride. MMA GOAT
GSP escaping from one bad position to the next. I know that feeling.
Gordon is so slick. The passing is flawless
More please.
My respect to one of the greatest mma fighters of all time and one of the greatest grapplers of all time. Each one would destroy the other one at their specialty.
What bro this is nuts!!
That trip at 2:10 was so clean
I had the pleasure of rolling once with GSP shortly after his first UFC loss to Matt Hughes... the man was chiseled out of granite, but a true gentleman, when rolling with someone a lot less experienced (me!) than him.
That foot sweep tho!!!
Respect
Ephen can't wait!
That sweep.boss level 100
2:10 footsweep 😩
So good
Nice pfp
@@bigjoe2438 thanks amigo
Sick
The King and the Goat.
GSP looks like he could still be fighting 😮
...and Gordon Ryan looks like he could toy with everyone in the UFC.
@@daithi1966 bro what lol, maybe grappling wise but he gets knocked out if he fks around too much on the feet
@@wulf5891 Lol! You do know who his coach is, right? There is a reason he is rolling with GSP, and Ryan would dominate in the UFC if he chose to go that direction.
@@daithi1966 I don't think so. He's not athletic enough or a good enough wrestler.
@@cdb0816 I wouldn’t go that far, but mma is a different game to jujitsu completely, although he has a huge advantage on the ground, wrestling defense is top notch these days, who knows he might be a beast on feet, wouldn’t surprise me, if not he has the perfect mind to learn, also younger than most realize. Count him out of a fight at your own risk. ready for the champs I’m not so sure but would be a tough out for anyone especially in 5 round main events
He's still got it! GSP! 😊
That "look" to a friend at 1.39 😆
1:38 that look of "holy crap" haha
2:11 never gets old 🤣
Very cool
Badass!!!
Goat fight
Damnnn, Gordon was just playing with GSP making him look like a white belt. Impressive!!!!
That's was awesome 😎😎😎😎
Ryan being so polite to the older champ haha.
Flooowing on George
Just GOATS doing GOAT things
Gsp wat a hustler man 1000000% hustle
Bomba💪👍
I call next!!!
Superb, bravo 👍👍🆒
GSP!!
Wow Gordon has the cleanest Ashi-Waza (Judo foot sweeps) I've seen from a Jiu-Jitsu guy
GSP seems like a different person when he's fighting.
Gsp è impressionante!
