100 grams (1/2 cup) white sugar
75 grams (1/3 cup) unsalted butter, melted
6 grams (1 teaspoon) salt
2 eggs, room temperature
540 grams (4 1/2 cups) AP flour

150 grams (3/4 cup) brown sugar, packed
16 grams (2 1/2 tablespoons) ground cinnamon
76 grams (1/3 cup) unsalted butter, softened
177ml (3/4 cup) heavy cream for baking

120 grams (4 oz) cream cheese, softened
57 grams (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, softened
202 grams (1 - 3/4 cups) confectioners' sugar
5 ml (1 teaspoon) vanilla extract

A tip for quickly warming butter to room temperature, put the stick of butter in a glass of warm (not hot) water for 5 minutes or until softened.

These are the absolutely best cinnamon buns/rolls we've had in a very long time. Niw we'll have them whenever we want & we kniw we'll enjoy every bite 🙆♀️❣
The last time I made them I made 2 different recipes & yours out ranked the others. It was like night and day & yours are our new go to recipe. The only change I made to your original recipe was to use bread flour. You should give bread flour a try with your recipe. It made a noticable difference.

You and I would be quite agreeable when it comes to cinnamon and especially unreasonable amounts of icing.
I can’t trust a person that skimps on cream cheese icing.
Good idea,....its just that you use too much cream cheese for only 12 cinnamons.....
ooouuu, maybe doing the cream cheese icing will make me like cinnamon buns, because i loove cream cheese frosting/icing on treats

Definitely for the dough! It won’t taste exactly the same, but it does have the fats needed in the liquid.
