"Remove 3 loops" I was confused by this terminology, but based on what you are doing, I think this can also be translated as "Yarn over 3 times" which is what some might be more familiar with when doing crochet. This is a beautiful easy pattern. Thank you for sharing!

It wouldn’t be ‘yarn over three times’ it would actually be ‘pull up three loops in the next stitch’.

I think it should be yarn over and draw up a loop, three times. If you watch the tutorial, she is doing a yarn over and then pulling up a loop through the single crochet stitch. She then repeats that two more times before drawing the yarn through all 7 loops.

Totally agree Im also a beginner but you went slow enough and clearly showed the steps to creating this awesome baby blanket. Im making a list for the right size needle to use and the yarn. Going to try and make one for my grandson. Thank you for teaching us how to create a beautiful design.
Practice, practice dear. This is something you don't see very many people do anymore. I use to see my mom's friends crochet all the time, remember thinking, I'm going to learn one day 🙂 as my mom didn't know how. At the age of 25 bought yarn and needle and started with a single crochet,made a small blanket, all crooked but did it. Then tried 2 stitch, then 3, then learned how to do granny squares. I made my kids blankets for their beds. Which my oldest still has hers. When I finally learned fancier stitching , I developed arthritis and osteoporosis 😒 It is so much fun for sure and relaxing. You definitely can do it dear. Before you know it you be crocheting all kinds of blankets as gifts. I think that's the best gifts ever. A symbol of love and they will be cherish for years. One of my favorite hymns.

That would make a pretty head band for a little girls hair. Make it long enough and just use the three colors and then leave a length to crochet the tie part out of the gray like the base rows. Really pretty idea. Thanks for sparking my desire to crochet again.

For everyone complaining about the music, did you know your phone has these buttons that control volume? Cool right! Usually they're on the side of your phone. Once you've found the buttons, on most devices the bottom one lowers the volume, click that as many times as needed, or if you're lucky you can just hold it for a few seconds and the music will disappear!! Magic :)
