@CharlieCharles432 Spot on with the dates and slides! I didn't know they were from the National Portrait Gallery though. The Julian Bream slide was shown, presumably in error, during the standby junction of Monday week 8, then Frank Bruno the rest of the week. The Elton John slide was also used on Wednesday 4 December when programmes postponed from Wednesday 6 November were shown.

Melanie Brady The third song is called Pausing (rather aptly). The tunes that term were Sailing, Resting, Growing, Pausing and Watching.
