Story 6: Stepdad was right. If your sibling is going in for a scrap like that, you join in. It's family honour, and you make sure you win the fight. And it your twin was in the fight, then you better pray you don't get punished too badly.

In school, I was bullied a lot. but one bully crossed a line. tipped over my desk while I was turned away trying to make me hit my head or worse. i slipped out of it as it fell standing still, obviously quite mad. This bully had made a habit of messing with me for years, and it wasn't gonna end just with that, he got up and was going to square off. Well when I asked him "did you do that intentionally?" and he answered "what're you gonna do about that?".... Dude got a punch to the face that ended up making him cry...
He was the football team's linebacker. He was seen crying as he went to the office, and he never messed with me again. I got suspended, but that was one bully down. It was rough being a queer kid.

Did they know you were queer back then? Because that would've been even WORSE for that jerk. 😂

My older bro is short like me and was bullied constantly. My dad got so sick of it, he enrolled my brother in the local boxing club. Bro started winning local trophies, regional titles and runner-up in national championship (losing by a point or two). As a teenager he boxed a buy who went on to become one of the most famous boxers from our country and beat him. Bro decided to hang up the gloves in his teens as he didn't wanna risk brain injuries.
Anyway, the bullying stopped VERY quickly once he was able to handle himself. I barely remember his boxing matches, but I've had guys who were REALLY good boxers tell me my brother was really good and could easily have turned professional. On top of him being a great boxer, he was a great brother. Best I could ever ask for.
I don't know ANY boxer who could not handle himself very well in a fight.

Had many bullies growing up, but I snapped on one. He was horrible. Always tried to hurt me. In gym one day, I sprained my ankle. My best friend and someone else was helping me to the classroom because I couldn't even put weight on my foot. My bully was behind me, trying to take my other leg out from under me, saying I was faking it for attention and to quit being a bitch (I was an eleven-year-old girl). Something inside me snapped, and wheeled around on my good leg and threw a punch at him. He was a lot taller than me, so I hit him in the chest and knocked the breath out of him. He never bothered me again. 3 years later, in 8th grade, he was the ONLY bully I ever had to apologize to me for how he treated me. After we went to high school, I never saw or heard from him again.
Ronnie, wherever you are, I hope you're okay. It made ask the difference, you apologizing.

My older brother had elective mutism, which is when you are in an unfamiliar location and/or situation, you just clam up and disengage. He was also taller than most kids his age.
After moving, we arrived in a new school, and two brothers that were the same age as us decided we were good bullying targets. (He was two years older than me.) We were seen as well behaved, and what happened one day is the older bully went to scratch at my brother's face, tearing off his glasses. My brother responded with a left hook to the face, leaving a black eye and a bloody nose. The bully was given a few days suspension because he was a regular problem, and my brother was given a lunch detention only, because it was a first infraction. (Although the real story is that the teachers had to punish my brother due to school policy, and gave him the strict minimum. My brother also overheard the teachers in the teacher's lounge cheering that my brother finally stood up for himself, and commenting on how they hope it put that kid in line. They just can't publicly state that.)
Afterwards, what would happen was that the kid became my older brother's friend, and cleaning up a little. His little brother stopped bullying me, and started inviting me to play sports with other kids, one time insisting I leave my hiding spot and dragging me to the other kids to play. And from what my Mom said, the kid's father gave him a good whooping, and when family day happened later that year, the father just broke out laughing obnoxiously. (We are French Canadian, so we are a very loud and gregarious people and culture.) "C'est une souris! Une souris t'a battu!" Which translates roughly (with intent, not direct translation) "he's a mouse! A little mouse beat you up!" (And by mouse, he was insisting that my brother was very meek and shy, and actually rather skinny.

i snapped on a couple bullies, one was in 6th grade, the annoying bully was picking on me for my weight which happened a lot. he was in my face and i asked him to move and after he would not i pushed him slightly and he fell on his butt and ran away, i think due to wet grass but it caused that bully to stopped. the other was in 9th grade a kid would not stop teasing me and i turned him into the school for harassment because i did not have to take it.

I got in trouble in grade school for biting a bully who had me in a chokehold. Proceeded to lose it at the teacher and got locked in a closet for the rest of the day till my mom picked me up after school.

A big fat guy in my neighbourhood, bullied me (a much shorter kid) from time to time growing up. Later on he decided to try it on another short guy from highschool. They were coming back from a nightclub on the same bus one weekend. Well the other guy wasn't as quiet and tolerant as me. He beat the tar out of the bully...leaving him in hospital and without his two front teeth. This guy was hard as nails. I attended the same college as the bully, who still had 2 fake front teeth (kinda like a partial denture) which he had to remove when he was eating.
Be careful who you pick on. One short guy might tolerate being mocked but another guy might just take it up 10 levels. I've been told I'm tough but it really takes a LOT for me to lose my temper to the point I'd even consider hurting someone....It's never actually happened.

Only once have I ever had to deal with a bully. So I was in the second grade and this happened after school at the Boys and Girls Club we went to. I was playing basketball with my older brother. I was winning and getting cocky I admit and he pushed me. Not hard to knock me over but off balance and I bumped into a kid who seemed to big to just be a year older than me but was. He never really messed with me before but I have noticed him being a prick to others all the time. But I guess he thought he could mess with me. Before I knew it he pushes me and yells at me but I stand up and push him back. He hits me and he probably thought I would cry but I hit him back instead. I don't think he expected this so he grabs me and starts to choke me. I knew he was stronger and my brother was just watching instead of helping so I did what I could do, I was barely able to get his arm up close enough to bite it and he let go. That's when I got on his back and started choking him instead. It was about this time the one of the staff members noticed what was going on, (very few of them for a large number of kids in a gym so I am not surprised) and tried to get me off but I didn't want to get hurt by this kid again so I had myself locked tight around him. When they finally got him free he was red in the face crying and wheezing. He stormed off screaming and cussing. Of course my parents were called and I was banned from the Boys and Girls Club for a month and the bully was banned for two. I don't remember ever having to deal with him again, my father was proud I won my first fight and my other brother had to do my chores for a week because he stood and watched instead of helping me.

problem with most bullying in schools is that they tend to ignore it unless it can lead to something they consider a much larger problem i.e racism or huge social fallout.
A bully in my school was ignored til it was pointed out he ONLY bullied me and being 1 of 3 chinese students (guess who the other 2 were...) you can guess how quickly they wanted to resolve the matter or keep him away from me after that fact was made apparent

From 1st grade until 9th grade when my family moved to another state, this kid named Matt would verbally put me down anyway he could. NOTHING I did was good enough to him, so he always found a way to put me down. Even when I made 1st chair trombone, he found a way to say it was a stupid instrument (btw that did NOT sit well with the other brass players). Then one day, during career day, my dad and his insurance company he managed had a booth for kids to look at and shadow if they were interested in it. He said something along the lines of "insurance salesmen like my dad were all snakes" and I snapped. I yelled at him "AT LEAST MY DAD WASN'T A DIRTY COP AND IS STILL ALIVE!" See, when we were in 1st grade, his dad was indeed a cop, and a dirty one at that who died during a drug deal gone wrong. Was it a horrible thing to say? Yes, but I don't regret it after all the years of pent-up hatred towards that prick.

First story sounds way too fake. The whole "You'll always be ugly" thing is played out too much in movies. What probably happened was the bully clapped back with something like biting how puberty will just turn her into a pimple freak, not that "And everyone stood and clapped" trash

I roasted his biggest insecurity (I was friends with his sister and she told me) in front of the whole class then got into a fight with him and won. 3 times.
First time was in front of the class. He got mad at me for talking about that and making the class laugh at him so he slammed me on the desks and tried to hit me. He wasn't good tho because I wrapped my legs around his neck and started beating him in the face and head while he tried to unwrap my legs (I was choking him).
Second time he didn't like the fact he got beat by a girl in front of everyone so he tried to push me into my locker and fight me where I couldn't be seen. When my shoulder hit ky locker I bounced myself off of it into him. He stumbled then came at me. I grabbed his hair and started hitting his face into my locker. I stopped only because someone was coming out the classroom to see what the noise was about.
Third and final time he tried to jump me with his sister. My supposed friend. She was mad that I fought her brother and because he was being made fun of because of what I said. They would've won if it wasn't for MY BIG BROTHER 😈😈 context her brother was older than us but extremely stupid. He failed and had to repeat a year twice so he was in the same grade as his little sister. My friend. He was insecure about this and she told me because my older brother failed a year too. Difference my brother failed once and it wasn't due to him not knowing the assignments but due to the fact he skipped going to summer school and didn't turn in his work 😂. He was a delinquent. So they tried to spread that fact around that my brother wasn't so smart either yada yada. Basically was trying to get the teasing on to another person. They chose the worst person because as stated my brother was a delinquent at that time. Second someone tried to clown him on that fact he beat the hell outta them then asked where they heard ot from. Came to find me after school to talk about my friend (he knew her but didn't know we was beefing at the time) and saw me getting dragged by them. He rushed over and tackled her brother. Second he was off me I jumped on her. After that day none of us ever talked again. She tried to bully me but she didn't have good roasts so she was usually ignored. We weren't in the same class (i was in the class with her brother) so it made it harder to interact anyways. As for her brother he tried every now and then to say something smart to me but I just either roasted him back but harder or remind him my brother was still a classroom over.
Also surprisingly. I fought this boy twice by the time he got his sister involved. Someone tell me why his sister was a better fighter than him too 😂😂

Rufus, I know you probably won't see this, but this is the best thing to say:
Before clocking somebody: "How do humans keep the time" (if idiot says a watch, say "watch yo head")
Delivering a hook: "What do fishermen attach to poles to catch fish?"
Kicking somebody: "What's the shape of Italy?"

In high school I was pissed off and this girl who bullied me said something snarky to me and I yelled at her to fuck off, and she left me alone after that. They go for easy targets. When you aren’t an easy target anymore they move on to someone else.
