Thing about the Wolves too they aren’t sitting back and letting Jokic dictate the pace. He’s a stationary passer and for whatever reason other teams let him sit at the top of the key giving him time to set up a play. Wolves start attacking right away, try to strip the ball or force him to a turnover. Jokic can’t make up for it either because this is where his lack of athleticism and slow game come into his play.
Murray is injured, so the Nuggets don't have a point guard in this series.

This is EXACTLY why Darvin Ham was Fired. Denver couldn’t handle LA on matchups, but they were able to gain the advantage by out Coaching LA. Ham should’ve deployed a defensive scheme late in games that ensured the Lakers kept their leads. His adjustments made zero sense and the Nuggets kept coming back. Minnesota has their number and the Coaches saw LA’s mistakes and capitalized on them.

When Jokic was able to guard Rui on defense just by standing still in the corner for 2 whole qtrs. I knew then it was over. Minnesota ain't allowing him to rest on defense at all.

I think it’s a combination of the bench along with last year the Nuggets played the Lakers, Wolves, Suns & Heat when all those teams were dealing with injuries so it made it easier, this year for the most part everybody’s healthy at the moment now I didn’t think the Wolves would be up 2-0 dominantint the way they are but I knew it’d be tougher for the Nuggets this year
