My hair looked exactly like yours! Only it is jet black. I hated it as a child unfortunately and when i had the opportunity i chopped it into a pixie. Now that im older i see how certain trends that GenZ embrace were the exact features i was born with. Bushy thick eyebrows, wavy long hair, tomboyish androgynous features and clothing. I was trying to hard to embrace the Kim K look and failed miserably. Im kinda glad GenZ made me love my actual real features and ive been letting my crazy brows grow out and letting my real essence to shine out!
I agree with you, Anna, full updos are cute for photoshoots and peaceful events, but, for chores and moving around, any hair long enough to get in my face needs to be secured back somehow. Especially, if my hair was your length (knees?)

I had to have my long hair chopped off when I was ill and I hate it short. It's growing fast again, but it took 3 years to get to my waist 😭 But I've gone through the Johnny Depp Mad Hatter stage, the Wolverine X-men stage, Albert Einstein stage and now it is just able to go into a mini ponytail. But over the past seven years I’ve gotten my hair dyed to cover the grays, and the damage has caused me to lose half my length! You look beautiful and youthful even with the gray. My wavy hair lives in a loose braid tied off with some yarn finger-loop braiding that I work into the braid for a few inches before the end. Loose hair in my face or getting caught in things while I'm trying to work, just no... Now that I know how to make a nautilus bun I want to try it... but you've still got more hair on 1/4 of your head than I do on my whole head (confirmed when you braided it)! it's longer than it's ever been before (yay, quitting shampoo) and the longest bits in the back just reach my "natural" waist (which is in no way where I ever want a waistband on anything ever). But since up and back is where I take it for its twice yearly split ends trim (it ensures the front is long enough to stay braided), it should at least be relatively consistently thick at that angle. I'm firmly GenX and was browbeaten into changing my centre-part to a side-part something like fifteen or twenty years ago, but it turns out my hair doesn't really care where the part is, as long as there is one, and if I don't put in a part, it will take care of matters itself... Someone also insisted I try straightening my hair. And thus I learned, wavy is the normal for me, straightening it just made it all limp but yet still frizzy at the same time.

a cheat - with semi permanent dyes if you want colour but don't want it lasting forever any colour that has a red base will wash out before you know it - blue might as well be permanent, so oranges, pinks and reds - you get less than a month, blues, greens and blue purples are there to stay [I dyed my hair midnight blue and now have turquoise ends six months later] directions do a great selection and work by deep conditioning the colour into your hair so its like having a hair mask on for an hour that you then wash out and it makes your hair super soft - but I would recommend trying the ends first just to make sure - it's a great option I cut off all my hair and immediately dyed it purple

Me too!! I did a nautilus bun using the first style and I love it, cinnamon buns are the only buns I knew how to do :) I am so happy to be able to find new ways to do my hair(butt length, medium fine, and strait) that actually stay up and don't give me a headache from the weight 😂

Have you ever tried a Gibraltar bun? Similar idea but it’s easier to achieve with shorter hair. Was my go to style for a decade or so. It’s quite lovely for the thinner hair folks who need longer hair for the nautilus to stay put.

Impressive all the work some people put into doing their hair. Here, leaving the house = simple long braid, or pony tail if I was too lazy or late. Pony tail on windy days or in a Winter coat = regrets, because it will be full of knots. Used to have very thick hair like yourse but as most guys I lost *alot* of it in my late 20's and 30's. Have about 1/3 left, still not bald.

I also dyed it teal, because, why not draw more attention to my extreme hair cut. 😁 My hair is approaching shoulder length again, but it may be sometime before I can pull off the space buns with the nautilus style bun.😏

Me too!! I did a nautilus bun using the first style and I love it, cinnamon buns are the only buns I knew how to do :) I am so happy to be able to find new ways to do my hair(butt length, medium fine, and strait) that actually stay up and don't give me a headache from the weight 😂

Have you ever tried a Gibraltar bun? Similar idea but it’s easier to achieve with shorter hair. Was my go to style for a decade or so. It’s quite lovely for the thinner hair folks who need longer hair for the nautilus to stay put.

Impressive all the work some people put into doing their hair.
Here, leaving the house = simple long braid, or pony tail if I was too lazy or late. Pony tail on windy days or in a Winter coat = regrets, because it will be full of knots.
Used to have very thick hair like yourse but as most guys I lost *alot* of it in my late 20's and 30's. Have about 1/3 left, still not bald.

I loved your princess look I think you called it. Um toward the end also you did the space buns and then braided your hair and even put some braids underneath some other braids.
