Non supercharged was 134 hp like my wife's '92 All-Trac (all wheel drive version) that she uses as her daily driver. They fit 7 people and the rear seats fold flat and flip up and the middle seats can be removed so that you could use it to haul stuff or put a mattress in there to go camping. My dad had two until my nephew decided to wreck the 1996 All-Trac Supercharged one into a tree. Now he has the '92 RWD version. My daughter has a '93 with a standard stick shift and crank windows. @@fergie1926 You must be speaking of a Chrysler. I have never had any such experience (except styling, which is subjective, and I can partially agree with you about because I don’t like the styling of almost any new cars). I just put a timing belt on a 2002 Sienna for a neighbor. It is the hand me down kid car that she replaced with a 2018 Sienna. The 2002 has over >350,000 miles. Original engine, original transmission, starts and drives like new. Her 2018 has almost 50,000 on it now and runs like a top. I have serviced tons of cars and trucks in all makes and models and the Toyota and Honda models have always been the longest lasting and least troublesome. That’s why I own three Toyotas, the lowest mileage of which is >155,000 miles, the highest is >240,000. It sounds like the one you saw had aftermarket tint (factory tint is incorporated into the glass) and must have been dropped off the car carrier.

My brother has owned Chrysler minivans for many years. Never the first problem. He had to order his 2021 Pacifica as the dealers in upstate New York didn't have any on their lot. Took 4 months to get his but says it was well worth the wait. He always checks out the competition and says nothing is nearly as good as the Chrysler minivans. Just loves his new one. He's now 86 years old.

    Hi, Scotty.
Partial to Sienna, especially the earlier models- they seem to be more robust than the following iterations. We've a 2007 Sienna XLE with 322 K+ miles (single owner); same engine & transmission. Took the van "car" camping last year from east coast to Washington state, back thru Texas and hit the Smokey Mountains on the way back. Planning more of the same with our van.

We’ve had Explorers and Jeeps but the Sienna is probably the best vehicle we’ve owned right next to our 2014 Corolla .

I would prefer a combination of Chrysler’s styling with Toyota’s reliability. But then again our family vehicle is a 2008 town & country and we’ve never had a single mechanical problem to this date, it’s been the perfect vehicle. The plan is to drive it until the wheels fall off and according to Scotty that shouldn’t be very long from now LOL.

We own a 2011 sienna. We bought it in 2017 and went with them due to reliability. My wife talked to people who owned dodge and Chrysler vans and heard they just were in the shop a lot even new ones and to stay away. We only had one major issue a oil cooler line burst, and 2 minor issues the passenger side middle window doesn't work and one of the sliding door cables snapped. I'm very happy with it and how owned a lot of different makes of cars with variety of problems. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the new Sienna Hybrid.

I’m currently in the market now and love the Pacifica plug in hybrid. I was considering it until finding out about the fire hazard recall that Chrysler still doesn’t have a fix for along with the price to change out the hybrid battery pack. The lifespan of the packs are 2-4 years and supposedly over $12k to replace. It’d be hard for me personally to own one knowing that I’d have to spend that much on a new pack even once or twice over its life cycle. Now I’m leaning towards the Sienna bc of the hybrid. The odyssey needs to catch up and offer a plug in or at a minimum a hybrid, maybe offer AWD.

Bought my 2006 Crand Caravan 6 years ago mostly because of the Stow-n-Go, and the price was right at that time ($4600). It’s been a great van since I’ve had it. I’ve only done general maintenance to it, beyond replacing then condenser a necessity in Florida, shocks/struts, and a $500 paint job last summer. As the 4th owner and at 168,000 miles, it’s done multiple cross-country trips and just took six of us and luggage to Miami and back (750 miles round trip). Like any car its’ days are certainly numbered, but I most likely see myself doing a Pacifica though when the time comes.

I have driven it hard, not as much now because the gas prices and maybe I'm finally turning into a more mature driver. It's powerful and it's nice to drive. My only complaint would be brakes have been replaced more than I'd like but it's possibly from the way I've drove it. Other than than It has been flawless. I can't wait to get the new one maybe in another year or 2.

I got 2018 Odyssey because I can't get over the fact that NONE of the Sienna offer: AWD with 8 passenger and leather. That's like impossible thing for Toyota to make. Also, Sienna bench seat middle row is an after thought, a big joke from Toyota engineer.
Odyssey right much more comfortable and it's lower to the ground feel more like a bigger car than minivan. Also Odyssey beat Sienna in mpg before the new Sienna Hybrid. I'm getting 28.5 mpg highway on my 2018 Odyssey.
