Vintage green from Banana Republic is one of favorite spring or summer scents.
Just scooped vintage green and man that stuff is 🔥🔥🔥 lasts pretty well for being a fresh one too.
What I really need is a top 10 hidden gems that will make me smell like Rick Flair circa 1989-1991.
Solid list, I would’ve added Boise de Vetiver instead of Yuzu. It smells way better in the high heat. Also less cloying.
Agreed! Bois de Vetiver is the best in line, and also my 2nd fav vetiver fragrance after Grey Vetiver.
My favorite of the BR Icon line is Linen Vetiver. It smells a lot like Vintage Green. Vintage Green projects grassy, and is a little sweeter. Linen Vetiver is a little spicier, with an aquatic touch. It makes the wearing experience breezier. There is still a classy element to the fragrance. Makes it a perfect dumb reach for warm weather.
I love Bois de Yuzu! I actually layer that over Mont Blanc Explorer and it is a phenomenal mixture. I highly recommend that. That said BdY is awesome by itself. Gonna pick up Vetiver this year.

Lagerfeld Bois De Yuzu is so jammy. Perfect warm weather scent. Great for the gym. A hidden gem.
A hidden gem for me is the Terre d'Hermes clone from Rasasi called Fattan . Incredible value for $20 or less , and smells much more expensive . I have over 100 clones , and this one is always in my summer rotation !
I’m a big fan of Banana Republic’s Icon line and have a number of them. My fav if Cypress Cedar. I also like Bois de Vetiver from KL.
As much as I love my niche stuff, sometimes in a formal meeting all you need is a clean, pleasant shower gel scent and Urban Feel is just that (I overheard someone compliment it to someone else). It's underrated as heck.

Another top notch clone I recommend is Bharara Viking Cairo. It’s a clone of LV L’ Imensite from what I’ve been told. And it’s so juicy and fresh smelling for about a 1/3 price of Lv. Been my most complimented fragrance this summer so far

Mr smelly put me onto the jimmy choo ice man and it’s great I just have to carry a little decant around for the little boost. He also recommended lanvin lhomme sport. Another cheapy but fantastic !

Ocean Noir smells exactly like LV afternoon swim. Which is why I didn't get Afternoon swim cuz they same the same. And last longer too.

Vintage Green and Linen Vetiver are legit….
Cypress & Cedar (TdH type), Neroli Woods, Tobacco & Tonka.. also solid.
Many of the others are serviceable as well…. For the rack store prices.

I wore ten sprays of Luciano Sunset Swim to Universal Studios. It was undetectable within an hour. Meanwhile, my son wore Azzaro Pure, and I could smell him at the three hour mark.
Afternoon swim is no better. I put it on heavy, and 30 minutes later, you could not smell it at all. I even sprayed my clothes, and that didn't help. I'm glad I only got a decant.

Sampled a 10ml of Ocean Noir two weeks ago. It smells beautiful but it was so so faint (even just after spraying) that I had to return it. Anyone else feel the same?
I have it and it doesn't last long.
Ocean Noir became my more affordable BDC edp replacement. Love the coconut and darker freshness.

I have jimmy choo ice and i can tell u guys it just last like 3 hours
It performs really well on my skin. People have complemented me at the 5th hour. I tend to go heavy on the trigger with this one, because it is a cheapie.
