That flail has to be the most terrifying thing you have handled on this channel. You are brave for swinging such a deadly weapon around.
Unironically this. It's got such a short handle and long chain that if you miss your target you have a problem.
Those are even more dangerous to user than the slap rounds.
When he came at that last watermelon from the side, I legit got anxious wondering how he was going to stop the flail coming back around and hitting him.

Slow mo shots at end with dual revolvers really showed the energy traveling up your arm….perfect as my 8 yr old (who requests to see your videos) had just asked me what recoil is…the energy transfer through your arm explained it better than I could verbally…we love the channel and it is great for my younger sons….
That’s the best part of his channel. He pleases the gun nuts, the science/ballistics gurus and also the common man who just want to see stuff blow up 😂
This has to be one of my absolute favorite videos you have done Scott, with the day I've had at work today this was exactly what I needed. Able to head back from lunch with a smile on a face and in a good mood. You never fail to lift the spirits. You truly have a gift and it is greatly appreciated. i love the multitude of funny firing poses you did in between. From "Nobody shoots like Gaston", riding into combat, calling your mother in-law before being hung up and "put me on the range like one of your french girls" or in this case, a french gun. I like you had fun with this one, keep it up!

You can tell how experienced scott is with firearms just from the slo-mo shots of him firing the weapon. There wasn't even a micro-flinch on his face when he fired, while swinging a mace above his head, mind you. Truly a man in his element

I really appreciate you making clean videos me and my granddaughter and grandson love to watch these together. My granddaughter 7 years old will come set beside me and say I’m ready to watch tuckey ballistics.
Having the 350 legend and magnum firing so soon after each other is really interesting because you can hear the difference very obviously in the tone and volume.
You can see a clear difference in recoil as well....... 500 ain't no joke
I love how Scott always brings in calibers that a common man like myself has never heard of, Underwood has taken care of him for sure. I love the intros, the quality of the edits as always is fantastic. It takes a lot of work to do all that & it always turns out great.

When you were firing both revolvers you could see the huge difference in recoil kick. That limited edition Smith and Wesson 500 Magnum was really dancing around compared to the 350 Classic. A really fun way of doing a comparison.
Right? It was so fun to see them side by side like that. Also had no idea how much difference a muzzle break Makes on the other 500’s.

I watch Kentucky Ballistics because Scott gives the basic rundown of a big and or weird/cool gun and starts blasting. This channel is a lot of fun.

Scott, glad to see you got a John Ross .500! It is, in my opinion, the best iteration of that revolver. Its barrel twist is a fast 1 in 10, so it stabilizes any bullet weight or length, and the perfect-length 5" barrel with muzzle nut allows tuning the barrel-cylinder gap. I've loved mine!

The cylinder gap flash with those cannons is immense. I think I'm going to use that in my handgun classes to reinforce why it is so important to hold a revolver with the proper grip.
There is a mythbuster episode where they make a hand out of chicken parts, and put it close to the cylinder. It blew the chicken hand apart! I own a 454 Casull, and I almost made this mistake when I first got it.
I learned the hard way my first time firing my 41. nice black line burn

So glad to finally see you get the 1911 in 460 Rowland on the channel. That's been my EDC for a while now and I love the fact that it's easy to conceal and packs a punch accurately.

That .500 looked really nice and that final slowmo of it and the .350 was interesting with the difference in visual recoil ;-)
Also if Scott is going to go "Medieval" on more watermelons I would recommend a battleaxe, a Daneaxe certainly would fit him.

I have shot it three times and while my recoil management isn't as good as Scott's, it's still a ton of fun.
As for the other guns in the video, I'd definitely want to test the compensated revolver with that rifle cartridge the most. Looks very cool and interesting.

My favorite today was the flail! I've been suffering from a nasty chest cold and my entire core is sore from coughing. When you cut to the 1st slow-mo after every shot showing you in a ridiculous shooting stance, I laughed so hard my entire body hurt. Thank you for giving me so many good laughs.
