- so yes this is a part 2 to another video i made in the past. i could honestly make this into a series if you guys wanna see one. but yeah these were just things i wish my little self would've known. tbh i don't actually remember if anyone actually told me these things before. i don't think anyone did lol. i mean it would be kinda weird to just suddenly have any adult give you these major life lessons. or would it? idk. ok now i'm just thought dumping. i do sometimes think if whether i'll still be the same person as today if someone told me these things when i was younger... hm. i guess we'll never know.

You made me understand something that was so simple and obvious, but because of a person's tendency to do things or be something "expected" in different departments of life, we completely forgot that we're only human. It's as if mistakes aren't even possible. Being a teenager is like a baby opening their eyes for the first time in the "real world" where changes are constant and we don't notice we are part of it.

I'm a teenage girl and I relate a lot to the subjects you talk about in your videos. Especially the fact that we all try to fit in when we are young and the feeling of guilt and fear that comes when you do anything. Sometimes you feel as if everything you do is wrong or like you could've done it differently. You also feel lost because you don't have a strong sense of identity yet. In the end, there is no right way of doing things, you just experiment them. The thing that helped me the most was figuring who I was, by fiding what I liked to do, what was truly important to me (friendships, family, hobbies etc...) and putting less pressure on myself, I'm still young. I already figured out by myself some of the things you mentioned and that makes me happy.

i'm 17 and i've been watching vias vids for months now and they're usually all so inspiring and relatable but the "not having a purpose" point really threw me off
for me, having a purpose is one of the most liberating things i have. sure, working towards my goals is tough and yes everything i do is for that purpose but i could never idly breeze through life like that.
my purpose it what guides my decisions and steers my focus, my purpose is something that motivates me to get out of bed, to go to college, to get a job
i believe that you don't have to have a purpose to be happy, but gliding through life with that specific mindset of "i just want to be happy" is such a waste of potential

I'm 18 and soon will be 19 (Sept 7) and I relate so much to the things you're saying. I've always tried to love myself more and improve anything I need to improve. I understand what you're going through, there are so many personalities out there and I'm 100% sure that everyone will try to justify why their personality and there way of living is the most Right way, and you end up lost not knowing who should I be like in terms of personality or lifestyle and after that you'll F*** it, I'm gonna be me and if it's possible I'm gonna live the way I want or the way I feel comfortable with. because in the end it's not worth living someone else's life or dream as long as it doesn't make you happy, words are simple but it takes so much time to finally realize all of this.
