      So glad to hear man. I remember I was so bummed out because I didn't read the fine print *not compatible with premium audio system* and was pissed I had to return. But then I tried this method and it worked. I was hella happy. So I figured I'd make my 1st CZcams vid because I know some people would have the same issue.

    I had the same issue with after market amps i just connected the remote wire to the accessory wire that why the amp detects a consistent 12v dont worry since its the accessory wire the amps will turn off when the ignition is off this probably the better way to go as well because yours amps need consistent 12v to work properly.

    Thank you, for the post and idea, Bro. We have a 2006 Honda Odyssey Touring with premium sound system and replaced the OEM with android 10. The radio wire did not work but it worked with the amp wire from the rca harness bundle and spliced it with the amp trigger wire (green/yellow) wire. I am getting a low static noice when playing but more noticeable in between music or pause. However, i noticed also the volume for the radio is so loud even its only level one. I can't seem to control it. The others like vidoe, music, BT worked ok.

    this only worked when radio is on. When switching to bluetooth or USB, the antenna loses power and therefore stopping power to amp. Is there any alternative wires that could be used to supply power without be a constant supply that would eventually drain the battery.

    How did you remove the wire pin from the terminal block to attached another wire?

    • @Fg2_Who
      @Fg2_Who  Před 2 lety +1

      I used a tiny flathead. One that can be used for tiny screws. Disconnect the pigtail and insert flathead into the back of pigtail so that way you can wedge the pin in a direction to unclip it. You can also simultaneously push the pin from the inside where it connects or pull the wire out from the back too. Then the pin has a little hole so I just put the tap wire into it and twisted it to hold on and then push pin back in. It may take a decent amount of force: you can push it with the small flathead or you can also reposition tapped wire to where it fits better for the pin to push back in. It should be able to clip in
