The video is made in blender and rendered using EEVEE. It’s been a great learning project to get to grips with real-time rendering and optimizing my 3D workflow. The final renders aren’t real-time due to high model geometry and volumetrics. Still very fast compared to a path tracer though.
There's roughly a 50-50 split between hand animation and motion capture from mixamo. This saved so much time and allowed me to focus on animating the facial expressions + dialogue.
Character materials are made from scratch in substance painter. The environments are mainly PBR image textures and extruded stills.
I voiced Lenny, Burns and occasionally Homer
Music was put together in FL Studio

Homer Jay Simpson is one of the main characters of the American animated sitcom The Simpsons. He is voiced by Dan Castellaneta and first appeared, along with the rest of his family, in The Tracey Ullman Show short "Good Night" on April 19, 1987. This is so great. First time I saw this I was terrified, but then I've watched again and again and again. If changed the shape of it, it doesn't matter. This proves it. And when he said 'my boy' his eyes have just once been normal Hormer.

This was an incredible work of art and really hits home. It took my wife and I four years of trying to start a family. We had done everything we possibly could but to no avail. We were about to give up and look into adopting but then I received the best picture message from my wife I ever could while I was at work. (5 positive pregnancy tests!). I could never imagine losing my boy (he’s almost 7 months old) and before he was born, I never knew I could love someone so much. But the moment he was born, I knew I’d do anything for him.
All jokes aside watching Homer suffer after the loss of his son is surprising and sad at the same time

If he was to make his content creepy, but not having any dark humor, I would say it will be good, however, he runs after childhood characters and ruin people's childhood in the most f**ked up way possible. You know that new episode of "Bloo Cloo"? That Blues Clues parody? He did a wonderful job, so that would be "bad" on his end. If he didn't keep up with the sinister content, then it would be "good" in a bad way.

So what I am guessing is that this is the episode where Mr.Burns runs over Bart except Bart actually died. After when Bart died, Homer went insane. So he decided to get revenge on Mr.Burns.

I think Lenny's dead I believe he's the corpse we see in the "nightmare" sequence. It makes sense as he doesn't seem all there like he's Homer's coping mechanism which ultimately fails.
