Este fue un evento privado hace muchos años, fue organizado por un amigo mío que practica y enseña ballroom. Desafortunadamente fue un solo evento. Y fue en Costa Rica.
Nery is one of my first role models on dancing, he is definitively one of the greatest social dancers out there, this was the first time I met him in person, and I definitively love Giana she is such a humble person and so lovely personality and a great dancer, i had lot of fun dancing with her as much I had talking with her. For this video was great to see Nery dancing with Lucia, and not to say that Nery does not make every girl look great with his elegant file, though saying that he is making her good is a bit strong, Lucia Jimenez at that time was already a great dancer, technically and flavor wise, not for nothing she has been world champion as soloist in Puerto Rico World Salsa Championship and Miami World Summit, and have got within the first places in several occasions on pro couples... and yeah I agree definitively Giana has something that no one has she is definitively unique and I love her style, and who you like better is up to your taste, which is totally fine. Everyone likes are maybe similar or totally different... my point being I do not think Nery is making her look good, I think they danced beautifully both of them and they complimented each other during those 5mins.
No veo como algunas personas dicen k Nery es el mejor bailarin d Salsa. Si, baila bien pero parece k esta gente no saben lo k d verdad es ser tremendo bailador d Salsa. No han visto a un Fernando Sosa ( maestro d maestro en cuanto a bailar Salsa,) a un Johnny Vazquez, Fadi Fusion y dos o tres mas k le dan 10 patas a Nery. Asi k miren bien como d verdad se baila la Salsa buena.
I got involved into L.A. Style salsa cause I saw the Vazquez brothers in a video, and Johnny was and still is my Idol, love his energy and showmanship... though Nery was one of my first role models for social dancing, he also is a showman, but the taste and the style are totally opposite, And I love Sosa, but he and Johnny are similar on energy and strength their styles are more explosive, while Nery's is more like a powerful but more moderate and more distributed flow, more delicate and I think that goes well with his brand which is elegant rumba... I would not venture to say that there is an absolute best salsa dancer, but you always say that to those you admire, so I do not think it takes away from other many awesome dancers out there....

Son estilos muy diferentes.
Nery tiene un estilo único, su baile es suave, delicado y muuuyyy elegante, nadie como él.
