But more importantly, how hilarious i find it that people were asking you for a p value for streamer dodgeball 😂😂😂 You did a great and thorough job and I know that because you can proudly present your findings and give solid answers for any questions thrown at you. No paid actor could be that confident in their work.

I think the way to make dodges work the easiest, although not necessarily the best, is to have a category of targets that's "airballs" which never had any chance to hit anyone so that the targets stat was more accurate

The statistically funniest roaster is an interesting idea, but hard to pull off, because what is your measure? How many people laughed about the joke - this would mean that a roast with more participants would automatically mean a higher score. The percentage of attendees laughing would also be better, but its difficult with a small amount of attendees. Also, it's totally dependent on the length of your set. How do you quantify quips during other peoples sets.

How about “accuracy against” as a stand-in statistic for dodging? I think there’s a large enough sample size for that to be informative. Fewer times targeted really just means that the opponent didn’t perceive you as a threat…
I still don't agree with not including a dodge stat. I agree that some throws are bad and that it doesn't mean much to dodge them...but that goes the other way too, sometimes you make a bad throw and you still end up getting a strike because the target did an even worse job dodging. Those things should even out as everyone should have similar rates of unearned strikes and dodges on bad throws/attempted dodges. I guess a ball just missing you without you doing anything is not technically a dodge but we can just call it something else if it bothers you. The important bit is that comparing that stat between players should roughly tell us who was better at dodging.

Baseball errors are pretty trash though. Outfielders can slip and have a ball land a foot in front of them and it’s not an error
