Not sure why people think Jordin is possessive, overly independent, bossy, demanding, whatever. This woman spent a year nursing a man she loved back to health after a spinal injury. She also said that she cooks and, in her first interview after the breakup (Wendy Williams), tried to keep everything respectful and non-petty. Doesn't sound like a "pretty spoiled mixed girl" to me. She also said she was a late bloomer. Those women typically don't take anything for granted when it comes to relationships and are actually really nurturing. In fact, they love harder than anyone else, but not to their own destruction, because they know who they are and who they want to be, in love or not. I can absolutely relate to her, because I'm the same way. Sounds to me like Jason caught a case of brand new.

I am just realizing I have a similar mindset to Jordin Sparks. When I was younger I was taught to wait until marriage.
