It's like watching my husband and me. We usually separate so I can shop in peace.
My wife and I also separate when shopping, she goes shopping I stay at home.😊
My husband shops for certain food items, and so do I, but we each go out to different stores! We very rarely shop together. He’s a fast shopper, and I like to go down almost every aisle and look at everything! Especially in a store like Costco! There’s so much to see; I don’t want to miss anything!
LOL! My Mom and I used to HIDE on my Dad for that exact reason! My Aunt told me about a time that he tagged along with her and my Mom to the mall. They seated him what they thought was "safely" in the "Massage Chair" in the mall and next thing they knew there he was....My Mom ducked behind the cashier counter and my Aunt wound up hiding in a clothes rack LOL!
My kitties love Costco boxes. Ones that held organic fruit or greens. I get the short, long ones for them to lay in a sunbeam, and then the giant, high-sided ones to put in a corner for them to hide in. Just put an old towel inside, and they're happy.
This is one my favorite videos. I like seeing the way you two interact with each other and with others. This is the 3rd time I've watched it!

Jerry you mention hearing aids at Costco. I will tell you our experience. My husband got his aids and died six months later. Costco completely refunded the full price, no questions no problem.

i could get hearing aids at the VA, but the ones I get at Costco are better and the service is 1,000% better, so as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

My word, you two would drive me insane. My wife & I will not shop for anything together because she is a slow poke who wants to look & compare everything and I am a 'grab & go' shopper. I don't go unless I know what all I need & where it is. The first thing I do when entering is to check to see how busy the check-out lines are. If I see lines like you had in that store, I turn around and go somewhere else. Just the time you spent goofing around with the muffins & lasagna nearly gave me a stroke. Speaking of strokes, different ones for different folks. Jerry, you are a saint with Linda (and she knows it.)

I was just getting ready to say shh.. to Jerry about the nuts 🙂 that was a great price for the pecans and walnuts and you can freeze them. What a savings Linda! Hey Linda, how about you get your own cart next time and Jerry get his that way he can get some exercise too! 😁 ❤
Linda, you are right, those nuts are a screaming deal. Our local Winn Dixie charges that much for ONE pound! I do miss Costco. Waiting for the one near Ocala. Jerry, listen to your wife! Don't drink the sugar water! She's tryin' to keep you alive. 😉
Those rotisserie chickens are the most delicious/BEST BARGAIN in the entire store!
I just came home from my Costco in Lancaster PA and I finally gave in and bought a Dyson Animal Ball Vacuum. It was on sale for approx $100 LESS than Amazon. I had a dog and 3 cats and I can't begin to tell you how many vacuums I've gone through in the last few years! I should have just bit the bullet and got the Dyson Animal Ball to begin with!
Your commentary on the shrieking baby... just hilarious!! I can see why it takes so much time to get through a store that size... good place to stock the pantry, but my goodness, the huge quantities! I can see why the carts have to be so massive! It's nice how you chatted with the employees and I'm sure that makes their jobs more enjoyable! Checkout lines were insane!! You are a master at the commentary, Jerry! It's a real gift to be able to make a long shopping trip into something entertaining!

I did watch until the end and I agree, it was exhausting. People who shop there would never be happy here in Switzerland…..no superstores here and sometimes it is nice „not“ to have so much choice!

We shop at Costco once a week. We keep at least 2 avocado boxes and one to two cooler bags in the car at all times. Planning on moving to The Villages as soon as our house in Arizona sells. The Cades

I’m one of those food demonstrators, I don’t know if people realize it’s a 6 hour job and she needed a dr note to sit.
I think everybody that has a job like that should be able to sit if they like.
It’s definitely a lot of standing in one spot hehe😅 with a dr note you can do anything.
I went to Costco & bought a bag of Heavenly Hunks. OMG, they are so good. Had I not watched your video, I would not have known about them.
We will make a return trip before long.

I have not read all the comments but…… wrap the muffins individually in plastic wrap put them in a zip lock bag and freeze. Take them out as wanted and thaw. Delicious and fresh.

Fun shopping trip!. Our Costco is only two miles away and I dread going there because it's always a zoo. I found out that 6 PM trips are better than daytime because it's less crowded. By the way, I hope you know those people doing the samples are not Costco employees. They are contractors but some have been in the store enough they know where some things are when asked.
Jerry you are a hilarious man. Next time we can go to Bass Pros so I can buy all that I want. Linda the sweet Linda just laughs with ya. You two a certainly made for one another. Thank you for taking us along on your shopping escapade it was a blast.

The company was founded in Kirkland Washington. Hence the "Kirkland" brand. That warehouse was extremely well run. Either they knew you both were coming, or they were on top of their game. (I was in Management for 34 years).😉

Don't forget the 55 gallon drum of mayonnaise. I think it's in aisle 5. We all get to see how pretty Linda's hair is in the back today. You guys are exactly like my wife and I when we go shopping. I'm glad to see we are not the only ones. It's Doritos every time.......no doubt.

That's one thing I'm going to miss in the Villages, being 10 minutes from Costco. I was there today.I shopped for about 10 minutes and was done and left. I sampled the cheese and caramel popcorn. It was actually pretty good but I didn't buy it. I bought my Cascadian Farms no sugar added blueberry almond crunch cereal, dried mango strips, printer paper and a 24 count box is really nice holiday greeting cards that were in sale coming out to like $1.04 each. Can't beat that. I might go back tomorrow. 😅 I forgot to get tuna!

You and Linda are absolutely adorable shopping In Costco. Unlike regular supermarkets costco only have limited brands of foods and will only sell those specific brands, they don’t have several brands of a certain food say for example bread to choose from.

You can always share with a neighbor if you all like the same thing. Freeze the muffins individually, wrap well and then you don't have to eat them all right away. We always buy the chicken for $4.99. Good price and everyone buys them. Fun video.

Once the location close to you opens, you’ll learn the layout of the store and what items you prefer over other stores. Your shopping trips will be shorter. The rotisserie chicken is the best and cheaper than other places. I miss getting the Kirkland’s canned chicken, so easy for a quick chicken salad.

If Linda is taking Calcium to prevent osteoporosis she should make sure she also is taking Vitamin D & Vitamin K2. The Vitamin K2 is to make sure it gets into the bones rather than staying in the blood stream.
Also magnesium, zinc, boron and selenium, I think. The boron and selenium in just trace amounts.

It is fun going shopping with you two. Bacon!!! Costco bacon is the best! And you can freeze it as well. Ok, muffins! Cut them in half and freeze them. It is impossible to eat 6 large muffins -- unless you have help! And always check 'use by' dates. Your cart is overflowing!!!
Jerry and Linda where is the healthy food in your cart ?- LOL- too much processed food- except for the nuts you purchased- btw the "zero" in the drinks is a hazardous substitute chemical for sugar - it is best to drink regular drinks with regular sugar - the body does not distinguish between regular or substitute sugar - there has been research done ( please google) that states that the substitute sugars cause cancer -
Hello from NZ. wow!! what an entertaining video this is. Somewhere i will never go to is Costco we had one installed 100 miles from where I live. They are for bulk shoppers and that is why you cant get everything you want, Looks disorganized, how do you know where you have been?? good for filling up small stores and institutions. I buy one tin at a time not a carton. lol. Mostly our shops have isles with placard high above each with what is in each isles. i still get lost. Fun Shopping isn't it, i get mine delivered to my door so miss all that walking.

Just got back up north a couple hours ago. I miss not having a Costco just a mile and a half from the house. I would go at least three days a week and just walk a couple miles in the store. Any day I got out of the store for less than $50, I declared it a victory. The candy store in Jeff is on my agenda tomorrow. 😁👍

That was interesting, thanks! I have a Costco card and use it when we visit family in Jacksonville. We use a chest cooler and ice packets to keep frozen foods frozen. Lamb chops are a really good price! The one in Jacksonville is crazy busy compared to other Costco's like this one that I watched on video before. That was funny when Linda put an item back on a different shelf and you let it happen after you berated people for not returning a shopping cart, lol.

The cheese and caramel popcorn mix is called Chicago mix. Cretor's is the brand Costco sells and it is awesome, give it a try the next time you go to Costco!

@JERRYANDLINDA You are correct - it's all mixed together. Luckily, the caramel is heavier and settles to the bottom. We just separate it out. Clean hands are a must!! 😂 🧼

I’m surprised not too crowded! I’m waiting for new one to open in Clermont 11.14 still a distance but it’s Costco! You can’t beat Kirkland brand bath tissue & paper towels. Plus the Costco whole rotisserie chicken cooked hourly that run 4-5lbs and you passed on it! Plus prices on milk & eggs can’t be beat.Oh & their spice aisle a connoisseur cooks dream of variety & beats prices anywhere I could find elsewhere!
