A video going over some tests I ran on the Magma Titan that has conclusive info on why infantry is rubbish and doesn't offer much in the way of 200% damage against the magma titan...

This video was quite helpful to me. Currently working on combinations/formations. Thanks very much!
Your welcome Carolyn!
Thank you. Very, very helpful for me. I really appreciate you.
Glad it helped, Carolyn! I appreciate your support :D
My one march with the Infantry was terrible, so I went back to my first march and did better. Bollox I tell ya
That’s because of Gongsun’s skill also adds crit damage to any hero you bring with and Conrad has high strength. You can get higher scores with other Heroes if their strength is the same but their damage factor is higher. Use King Arthur paired with Gongsun and even if they are only 2-3 stars the damage will be higher than using a 6* Conrad because King Arthur’s damage factors is way higher and he can activate her bonus % while she raises his crit damage. Probably would get a score around 17mil per run instead of 10.
I'm so F2P King Arthur is not on the menu yet!
Explains why my 700k mixed march with Gongsun and Alexander does way better than my 900k infantry based march😒
Bingo! 900K march you must be SH39ish then... NICE
@@LoC.23 😳 it was that easy to tell off the march size?
@@MormontBaelish I bet you someone can tell the level of your heroes just from your statement XD I could if I bothered to do the maths... I know you have spent a nice chunk on this game at the very least when you mention Alexander name lol
Not the way to go m8. Using my inf march I scored around 210 million. Using my strongest distance and strongest cav hero with equalised troops (t11 and some t10) I scored 360 million.
I take it you didn't watch the video in full or was replying to someone else lol
@LoC.23 I did watch it m8 you didn't split you heros or equalise your troops. Equalising your troop types does the most damage in pve. You also had two of the same type heros so they are boosting 1 troop type where as having your strongest Cav hero with your strongest dist hero (ideally strength heros) will give boosts to both of your best damage troops.
Splitting the heros and equalising the march gave me around 70 million more damage than just a strong cav pairing (Alexander and Fenrir max'd in full max'd purple) with a troop type that leaned more towards cav like yours did.
My march with cav set up similar to yours did around 290 million. The set up I recommend instead hits for around 360 million
@@LoC.23Just spotted that when I edited my first comment because I said troops instead of hero's it also removed the second paragraph for some reason where I spoke about the march also beating a cav set up...
@@kurt5079 Aha now I get you, will try that next time I did not know that. I usually get worst results in the mines but never tried on the titan... Thanks for the tip Kurt!
@LoC.23 No worries bro 👍 It doesn't seem to make sense but you get better results with equalised troops of t11 and some t10 (usually gives me around 5k each t10) than you get with just t11.
Happy hunting
Sorry bro, but your comparisons are invalid since the total power sent ranges from 45 to 50 million. Of course the stronger force will do more damage.
Try running those tests with the same total power sent out.
I agree with you there is a 4-5K march capacity advantage causing that power difference. However we are talking a 3M discrepancy in points this is HUGE considering there is suppose to be a 200% bonus. I didn't show it but my infantry hero have more gold invested in them as they were my primary march in the old days so they are actually stacked better from an investment perspective so the picture is actually worse then shown. But even with this hiccup explain the cav march and the infantry march with the same heroes bringing back similar results... Make it make sense bro!
Right, too many variables involved to make a fair statement about any one of them.
So, keep the same heroes and total power sent. Changing only the type of 65% troop.
Question, would switching the 25% and 10% troops make a difference while keeping the 65% type?
Side note: don't know where CZcams gets the screenshot for the video's cover pic, but it shows a magma Titan that gets more damage from cavalry while buried way deep in the video you do show the Titan of interest.
Maybe slow down just a bit and get all them ducks in line 😅
@@Seishin_Tengu You can try that and you will see the results are the same. Infantry is trash just admit it... It's trash it's trash it's trash and one more time for good measure IT'S TRASH. Anyone who plays this game seriously knows that already, catch up bro ;). I would say yes as infantry is traaaaaaaaash lol but all jokes aside base stats are lower on infantry attack then distance attack so of course changing will lower damage. Remember attack stats scale off of troop types attack stat and infantry has the lowest base attack stats now.
Yeah I would change it if I was that meticulous but I'm not :P
@@LoC.23 lol it is :)
@@meruouo9965 Glad I'm not the only one shouting from the rooftop :D
