Yeah, I'm so used to faster speed that times two speed (x2) is normal to me now. If it's too fast guys hit the cog and go to the playback speed settings and drop it down to 0.5 or 0.75 depending on your preference. I edit in 2/3 times speed and this is why this one slipped my radar as it sounds normal.

One thing to note for the F2P especially when starting out, there are a few useless heroes you want to level to 30 or higher to unlock them for Alliance Hall. This will help with your building, research, training speed and either reinforcement or march capacity early on. A good cheap investment that gets results right away.
Easy enough to spot as their intelligence is highest or tied for highest.
Philip, Giovanni and Francette for A rank.
Turenne, Madame Lannoy, Brisemont, Thomas Hobbes and Count of Wardes for B rank.
Madame Brutal for C Rank.
A Rank is obviously better since you can enhance them and their intelligence with gold later on.
And for S Rank, Captain Philip and Anne are good to invest in for the same reason, as is Dulci and Peggy.
So, other reasons than combat to enhance your heroes other than Gems.
Lastly is for extra marches. If you hyper too much then you won't be able to take advantage of troop count to send multiple marches because those marches will be too weak. This will either reduce the rewards for events or allow enemies time to heal or port away.
@@boutinpowered8373 Personally I think you should only focus on 2 main marches [4 heroes] for combat but that my opinion. As your 3/4/5th marches will be duds as the power will significantly drop off as F2P...
If I already lvl'd up Alexander who should be the second hero with him on the same squad? Gongsun or Arther?

what about the hero gear for darius ?
Look at the qty of your troops and select the two high troop types you have and outfit him with that
Thank you for the great videos. Question: How do us free players get Tempest Crystals, and how do we use them to get hero boxes?
There is only one way and that's through the cracking of the eggs on the parchment scroll at the top of the screen. (If you crack the leftmost egg three times it will give you one tempest crystal a day. You will then need to painstakingly save these until you have enough to get the desired pulls or waste them getting no chest on the heroes descends mini game roulette.

Why did you list Gongsun as f2p? Gongsun isnt a f2p hero
I would say she is, whether you get her from hero descends or got her for free she is more F2P then the other heroes you get from HoB chests which can also be looked at as F2P...
