Hi! I have a Canon Snappy El and I wanted to know how many times do I have to press the shutter release button in order to reach the first film? Do I have to make sure the counter is at "1" before taking photos, or does it automatically take photos even at "S"? I hope you see this comment 😄🤞🏼

@@aminataba1666 Hi! I usually take photos immediately after loading and I don't wait for the film counter to reach "1". I've done this ever since and I haven't encountered any issues 😃

Hi! Great video! I just got this camera and I was wondering if the advance of the film is automatic, cause when I put the bateries (without the film) and I pressed the shutter it does not advance. Do you know if it will advance with the film on? Thanks!

Even if there is no film in this camera, the shutter works as long as it has batteries. Check if there are any foreign substances in the contact part of the battery.

Did you try it with film yet? I have two different snappy models and haven’t film tested them, but I have the same issue when testing them with batteries only. Neither camera advances when there is no film in it. But the shutter/flash does engage

@@andremampourian7814 I haven't yet but I will soon try it with film. Promise to let you know if it works!

As you can see if you look closely at my video, both the shutter and flash work fine even without film. I recommend that you check the battery contacts carefully, and if there is any foreign substance, wipe it well and test again. Thank you.

The camera design was done by Canon in Japan... but the production was made in a Chinese factory.
