one of James’ best-ever videos. I adore the indoor ring-light reflecting in the “outdoor” shots and the lesson on wielding a katana/handgun combo.
You forgot to mention that its important to always keep your finger on the trigger while dual wielding with the long blade.
That way its not just easy to deflect incoming stand-off strikes with your own load, its also a great way to show of your fearless proficiency.
Steeling your digits like this might also give you the power to use toe operatet sluggers and take your roundhouse game to the next level.
James that was magnificent. I'll take these sacred teachings to my grave after dozens of rewatches, but I don't think I could ever emulate your gravitas in that wonderful jacket.

I have to admit, no matter how weird some people are with their katana obsession, the idea of actually just always carrying a sword around has always appealed to me. Maybe one day I shall finally indulge myself in the teachings of Elmore-Sensei lol.

Of all swords, katanas probably have the most school’s currently teaching techniques that actually trace back to the time when they were practically used. Leave it to a middle aged white guy to, ugh, “improve” upon that.
