I was a hairdresser for 18 years and Jessica’s shoes were the only heels us girls could wear and make it through an 11 hour day at the salon. She always makes quality stuff! Still have a few pairs, even after my retirement from the industry!

After watching all these interviews with her and listening to some of her songs like I Belong to Me, I love her! I can relate to her so much in her interviews because we all have ditzy moments, but when a girl has them, we get labeled as airheads. It’s like we aren’t allowed to be silly. I also loved how she talked about being judged by her body and looked at in a sexual way as a kid. Unfortunately that is a problem that seems to be universal for women, I remember old men making comments about my body when I was ten...it’s a real problem. And apparently the men who ousted after Jessica when she was a child went to Church...this shows so much religious hypocrisy.

5’4” and 260 lbs. yes, she was disciplined to have 1. Faced that directly and 2. Dealt with alcoholism (or whatever that was ... she’s come a long way baby.... beautiful, courageous and smart. Mostly I love that she’d risen , learned seriously difficult lessons and oh! She is one heck of a singer ! Mic 🎙 drop.

I’m so so so happy she started the interview thanking her about the Jessica Simpson business and brand!!!!! It was the first time I started seeing actresses like Jessica Alba, drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson etc......start business outside of their acting and careers and becoming their own business women outside of being the face of Gucci, L’Oréal, cover girl etc....
Drew does well with her show. She has been subjected to scrutiny since she was a young child. Two friends talking is exactly what makes this appealing.

Drew is one damn good interviewer. I hop on CZcams after work just to watch who she’s interviewing. LOVE how she engages who she is interviewing, while also keeping us engaged and really our toes on what they might answer and what she might as next.

I’ve always felt something for Jessica:) I always felt like there was such a pure sweetness to her and she was really thrown into a world that could be so unhealthy and so hurtful. I thought it was weird for a singer to have a clothing brand until I needed a maternity dress to wear to my baby shower, and 2 weddings, but I LOVED the Jessica Simpson maternity dress I got. It was so pretty, and the best part was not needing a special bra! Nobody wants to find, let alone wear, a strapless bra while pregnant! It might have even had pockets? Anyway, design-wise it was perfect.
She was the only one who had cute maternity wear when I was pregnant in 2008.
My last pregnancy in 2019 I had a JS dress that was so beautiful, I didn't want to give it away!
I think Jessica is so smart and has so much integrity. It seems she’s always sold short because her message doesn’t translate in her communication and that’s a shame too because she’s so underrated as a result.
I don't think it was because of her message, per say. I think it had to do more with her look and hos she came across when she started T.V. However, I think a lot of people began to realize she wasn't as dumb as she came across when she started building her brand outside of music and the show.
Showing up to interviews drunk didn't help her ditzy image. As far as walking in her shoes...it's impossible. I use to sell her shoes and they hurt to walk around in. I have to say they were never particularly stylish either.

Unfortunately Jessica didn't have anyone to protect her from herself. I think it's lovely that you love her. My favorite celebrity has been Drew barrymore for probably 25 years. She's had her fair share of problems and also lacked protection at an even younger age. If she can come out of it all on top ...well I think Jessica can too.
She is seriously one of the only celebs that I love and appreciate. I adore all of her products: baby clothing, bags, shoes, clothing, glasses, etc. She is so genuine!

I have not followed Jessica in years but she seems so wise and humble here.
I love both these women! I’ve read their books and it made me love them more! Jessica is so smart and business savvy, much more than the persona she has portrayed on camera most of her career. Her book gets so personal and was really shocking at what she’s been going thru. I love that Drew is shining a light on the serious side, the realistic side, the real side of Jessica. This is what the world needs to see more of from all celebrities. A shift in Hollywood needs to happen and I think will happen and is already happening.

I love Drew Barrymore and she is great as a TV host! 😍 Also, a friend and I saw Jessica Simpson last February in a mall near Nashville where she was signing her book. She is even more GORGEOUS in person. I didn’t get the chance to talk to her and didn’t want to get in line since there were other people there that were dying to meet her that were fans for years and I honestly didn’t know all that much about her other than her being famous, (and that my older sister’s friends were super obsessed with her music and show years ago, lol). But she was so sweet to everyone that came up to her and I really started reading up on her after that encounter. She seems super cool and down to earth.
