@@Bird0b0b the event is only for four days and so if they’re going to take a whole day away from people who didn’t get early access, there’s something fucked up and wrong with that. especially because it’s a legendary on the line that we can’t get again once the event is over

Me neither. Maybe we need to be right on top of a stop or gym? I tried yesterday and nothing. I want to make some good routes by me.
@@mrmoose6619 Same here. Tried walking to find other Pokéstops to start making a route, but it did not show up for me. Very frustrating, because I planned some routes I can't wait to create.

I’m hopeful these routes can be polished with updates. Seems like Niantic actually cares about this feature luckily. It’ll be great when it works like it should and will get me outside more for sure. I want that 100% Zygarde

@@Bird0b0bu get zygarde 10% form u need to follow routes to get zygarde cells and upgrade him to 50% form and then its final form 100% zygarde

It should work kinda like how you rock climb a wall of rock with that one part in crevices that the rope feeds through while you move up the wall. The game should be able to anchor your route every couple seconds remembering how you moved instead questioning how you moved.

It looks like it's using the same data for the egg hatching. And matching the trail to the distance it's recording vs the players actual position
I really do wish Niantic could get better on showing how/where their stuff ingame is. All I can see is the list of available routes, where is this route maker? Tbh if you release a new feature, please make it easy to find it/operate it.
niantic’s way of rolling this out is a huge problem. We have four whole days to finally get all the stuff for this legendary… But they’ve already taken away a whole day for most users,
Another problem is that if users cannot create routes for people in their small town, there will be no routes to follow. So unless they hurry it up and roll it out there will be a large handful of people who will completely miss out on this legendary.
You can actually get Zygarde without doing any routes. The 50% and Complete form come from collecting the cells on the routes.

@@marzypoo there isn't a single route where I live.... none anywhere nearby.... drove to the towns over, none there either. For Many people, there is absolutely no way to do this event. And that's pretty shitty, even for niantic

In my opinion Niantic and by extension Nintendo continue waterboarding many members of the disabled community with ROUTES. First, we nerfed the Remote Raid Passes, then we introduced Shadow Raids that we hope is beyond you reach, and now guess what? HERE IS SOMETHING ELSE YOU CAN'T DO.

If they have problem with gps drift or whatevery they should do so you can draw the route.

It’s a cool feature if it were working. I tried making a route it was going okay. Then right at the end i jutted out way off the path into a fenced off area. Like gps drift/ the system trying to fix it deemed that was the way i went
My hunting GPS does something similar when I go into tracking mode, usually caused by something blocking the signal, such as bad weather or mountains lol. Wonder if it a GPS problem 🤔
I don't think so we're having a same problem we can't make routes here for some reason on any of our devices and we're talkin about 12 family members and not one of us can make a route
I’m not even getting the option to make a route, which annoys me. I frequent a large local park with walking trails. Someone has made one, but it is an 84 minute route. I wanted to make something more reasonable.

I have a route that I can't remove every time. I reload the game is still there. And when I go to report it says error
thought i would share, i read the learn more tab in the route tab and it says its level 45 plus and only to a select few. not sure if the select few is those lvl 45 plus or if there’s another category you need to be in.

So far the only nice thing about routes is it boosts daily incense spawns by practically double. The cells are so rare its gonna take a year to get 100% forme
Oh great. On top of that NOBODY IN MY AREA CAN CREATE A ROUTE. WE HAVE PLENTY OF POKESTOPS AND WE DONT HAVE AN OPTION TO. So yay I’ll be stuck with 10% form then.
I have no option to create a route, but I saw it there in the today tab at the bottom where showcases are, yesterday. I found 1 route to follow today and it literally made me go through a construction zone. I'm sure whoever created it went around and it drifted for them. I'll wait for the makeup event, I guess.
i was trying to follow a route at this busy mall and i kept drifting and it kept telling me i needed to go back to where i got disconnected and i literally had to be right at the EXACT physical spot where i drifted away to be able to reconnect

I tried to make routes already but it didn't even look the way yours did so I think it doesn't work at all over here. I had already posted a start and end point, but nothing works.
My first route closed my app repeatedly even when I did nothing but walk. I gave up after 4 or 5 closures.
Exact same thing happened to me! I gave up thinking it was broken.
I didn’t have those issues In the beta for the making of the route but I’m not surprised there’s issues
You hadn’t the issuses cause the tracking in beta was different, they changed it(I think, because routes in the beta looked like a 100years old tried to write)

Kinda seemed the route was falling the pokemon that you were catching with it, not the actual route.

I have no Routes in my navigation bar and I wanted to record a new Route but, each gym and each Pokestop showed nothing in order to record, and there were several. I tried reading about Routes in the game and watching other videos…there is limited instruction (that I can find). Could you tell me where to find more detailed info? I am a novice, but cross-referring info shouldn’t be so hard within the game.
My problem is, I don't have the option to ever create a route. Do you have to complete someone else's route before you can create your own?

Now I feel bad talking about a couple of gyms and a few stops that it is unsafe for me to walk to.
I am worried if I do my grind route for community days will have more issues cause I have to backtrack at certain stops cause they are in an area where it back more sense to back track than go forward.
My normal raid goes through a nest but they will not allowed the route through the nest.
It told me 40 meters either way to follow the route. I was told the route I was on was reversable but it didn't count the first time. Maybe next time.... maybe I have to hit a button?
I found 1 Zygarde cell the first time, there's a barely visible pop in green on the screen... not easy to see.

That early 40 grind was real. People underestimated the value of pidgeys and rattata hardcore. For a while was top 25 in the world (At least, of the FB groups that tracked and submitted) for little rats because of all the catch/evolves I did bahahaha

I live in Anchorage and once it’s in a usable state I will be doing routes when ever I can seeing as how we’re not in a big city there won’t be much but I will contribute 😆
They might be adjusting for poke spawns for a possibility of poor tracking

Definitely gotta keep the lighting. This is by far your best lighting.
I know a spoofer that's having problems when following the route a popup keeps coming up saying automatically paused, move closer, what you showed us what you have recorded, maybe that explains why players or just spoofers are having problems following the routes.

Reality: Frequent crash, spoofer heaven, people just drive the route back and forth. Meanwhile cant even have a pokestop unless I go a mile and cross the main street out of the only 4 main busy street in my place. Nice.

Who is able to create routes? I’m level 50 and played from the start and don’t have create route as an option. Your video also explained why the route in my area is awful. When I try to follow the route I have the same issue being pushed off path and pausing the route. There are definitely things that need to be worked out.
Yeah the PokeStop I'm spinning all day have no set route icon all I can do is spin or drop a lure module on them I cannot do the routes at all is it specific pokestops or something that only do them idk but it's not working for me
The fact they hyped this feature up on Twitter by saying "it's the hardest feature we've added" and then still being such a crap thing is insane to me.

I did the beta form and during that created 3 routes. One being along a coastal path , one being around the areas main pokemon Park with loads of gyms and stops....All were rejected??😡 ....I fear this is Wayfarer mark 2, with most being rejected for no reason......I hope it's not....
U gonna b more frustration while follow the route, when your character drift away it auto pause it until back to the location it pause earlier to make it continue ,driving is totally no go, speed caped it pause too, walking those place will make u drift u will not gonna complete the route, so far I managed to go 5 times route, it appear the cell once
