Gotta leave a story about my copycat down here real quick: In *middle school* i decided to get my hair cut to my shoulders, my copycat did the same a week later so i decided ill get it shorter, she did too. Meantime this was happening my copycats mother started copying my moms hair too and ngl it was quite funny. At 8th grade i wanted to cut my hair and dye it and as you might guess my copycat tried to do the same after me. The dye i used stayed longer and was more vibrant then hers so she cried and went back to her usual self after... well that was till *the end of middle school* (like literally for 4 months only) She started copying me once we were in high school so i decided to get any color on my hair, she tried but never managed to get it right. Then i got a bf just to start hearing her brag about a boy that looks like my bf, and then manage to tell that it was her bf. I was just laughing at that point cuz who wouldnt, its pretty childish. And no, she had no bf; she confessed a year later about it. Thank fuck we graduated and i no longer have to have cramps in my stomach while laughing 😂😂😂

I used to get told off for copying people in conversations when I really dont meant too 💀 I'm really bad in social situations and the way I taught myself to socialise was to almost mimic the other person because the reason I hat socialising so much is because people will think I'm weird or hate me or whatever and my logic was if I do what there doing they'll like me more and it kindof just stuck. Thankfully it's getting better now
