Yul Brenner was the inspiration for Arnold Schwarzenegger's robotic _Terminator_ movements. As much as I loved this movie, I always felt Brenner deserved a bigger role in Westworld.
I thought Brenner was really the star of this movie and definitely deserved a bigger role.
West World was so much more disturbing back in its 1973 release for those of us of a certain age who can remember it. Good thing for me it wasn't rated R like The Excorcist so I could actually see it at 13 years. The story and acting are so strong it still holds up despite very dated effects.
oh my Dearest 😱 Yul Brynner scared EVERYTHING out of me.
This movie freaked me out as a kid, I saw part of it on TV and that robot guy gave me the heebiejeebies.
I eventually did watch it though after getting into the series on HBO. May it rest in peace.
Yes, Yul is remembered for something other than The King.
As well as the Pharaoh in "The Ten Commandments."

The movie is great! Because of it, I was looking forward to the recent series but was disappointed early on. Can't beat the original!
One of my favorite movies when I was a kid. It also spawned the horribly amusing sequel Futureworld
I saw this on TV when I was young in the mid 70s. It was kind of scary.

I never knew about the film, but there is a TV series about the general idea and the same title with an additional twist to it.
Westworld scared the crap out of me when I was a kid! I remember seeing it at a matinee when I was 7. I love this movie to this day! The HBO series was good too.
I love this movie I bought the DVD some time ago...Yul Brenner was so sexy 🥰 . I know there was a cable series but a modern remake along the lines of the original movie would be cool.
Now do Westworld II, in which world leaders are replaced by the robots, who do a better job of running the world.
