His insight is always great
Heeseung grew up overnight in the Fever video -- the background sounds in both videos really made the songs effective and memorable. Thanks for the music producer take on this -- it gives insight into why the songs are so exciting.
I love his commentary on the guitars in blessed-cursed. Like that song became a low key favorite of mine because of just that running shred guitar and "elephant walking" horns. How he immediately started grooving to Fever too. I'm so happy you got him to listen to these. The dancer reactions are brilliant, but I also enjoy these two songs for their musicality and production too! And of course this dude always brings that new light.

I recently started studying music production at university, and I've found these videos with Drew to be sooo helpful in trying to identify certain sounds in songs and to improve my overall hearing in producing. He always points out melodies, effects and instruments I initally never really registered in these songs, and so it's been really good practise! Thanks for that!

"Fever" No, they didn't do slow mo, that was the choreo. Dance Practice (aka performance ready) showcases that.

Very interesting analysis. I hate to admit, but for Kpop, I'm more into the performance and choreo rather than the actual music itself, so I miss a lot of the finer details so it was interesting to hear these things pointed out while listening to the song. But I can't believe I never noticed the guitar solos playing in the background...
