@@rayhanrizvi334 it's not only TikTok, it was Instagram, Facebook, CZcams, etc ..and yeah, trends can last 1yr or 6months but you see how much damage can be done in such a short time?. And it is part parents, part authorities to blame, one for not being a good roll model at home and the other for not allowing parents do their job at home properly because they brained wash kids at school that if they get spank or punished it is called child abuse, endangered, etc and should call 911 immediately. My kids tried to pull the 911 threat on me and I still punished them like Latino mom's do and I handed them the phone right after and dare them to call the police on me...they never attempted any stunts after that and learned to behave properly. At home, I'm the authority so no chance to mess around.

@@rayhanrizvi334 facebook and CZcams are not the place where challenges start, but these are means where they show what those challenges do so if they're banned from TikTok, those two platforms still contribute to propagate the trends in some ways, Instagram was used to start trends but other toxic trends that had to do with body issues, fake lifestyles and more mind and self shaming issues. Facebook is not much of a 'promoter' of trends because young kids think that FB is for old people only, and it is mostly true, FB is full of old people with political issues, racists issues, etc..so .call it ' adult' trends??..bottom line, all social media is full of crap some way or another, it is up to the user to provide positive influence or not and the receiver to choose what is right or wrong according to his/her moral and social principles, with this said, education starts at home.

No one should be shocked by bathroom vandalism. We all went to school and I think it's safe to say we have all seen it at some point. But... what is weird is these kids post it in the internet where EVERYONE can see it. My generation would never be so dumb. We were not trying to get caught. Does it make it right that we did it too? I'm a parent of an 8 year old, and I learned to never assume "my kid would never". As a kid I didn't indulge in destroying, stealing or defacing property. I mostly watched my friends and classmates, and yes I'd laugh. I can't assume my kid wouldn't in the future. When I heard about kids overdosing on benadryl, fractal burning, and other life threatening "trends" it made me really scared to even consider my child having any social media in the future (after 18 I can't do anything about it). Kids will find ways to hide it, the best I can do is take his devices and monitor them, but what will stop him from doing it with friends. I don't have a solution or advice, just expressing my thoughts and seeing how social media has become extremely dangerous over the years. Very scary.

Honestly this trend got out of control. In my my school, 4 soap dispensers, a toilet seat, and an entire toilet paper role went missing in one day. Also someone brought a sledgehammer and destroyed the sink.

It was funny when you stole a pencil or 2 but stealing stuff as exit signs could get someone killed. They need to find a fire escape and you stole the sign so they cannot find it and die in the debris or burn. Both of them are painful and slow.

How the parents still letting their kids go to school
If parents don't let kids go to school, trady officers will visit home to take kids to school. If repeat offense then social worker will show up and take kids away.
I had trady officer showed up at home many times because I always show up at first class. After bell rang, I walk out because first teacher marked me as attended class. Therefore, I showed that I come to high school but leave. My parents hadn't got ticket or in trouble since middle school.
After police dropped me off at school, I walk out back to home again at before lunchtime. Hoping staff skipped their lunch to looking for me. Cause, I brought my own lunch bag and eat in public park peacefully then goes home.
I graduated with over 100 hours detention and 2-3 suspensions. How I did graduated? By senior, I transferred to online school with my last year transcript and finish online high school.

People don't understand that kids are doing this mostly because their school is a sh*thole. Kids shouldn't be punished for this when the adults are at fault, forcing thise kids to live in a world of poverty, violence, social alienation and total human degradation.
