I’m not very good at chess, so everything I hear in this video is beyond 9000x my comprehension ability
ignore the names of the openings unless you want to note them down and look at their explenations later on (careful, that's a rabbit hole eating up hours of your day in order to achieve base line understanding).. just look at the moves and if you think "wait didn't he just hang his [insert piece here] without levy explaining it, pause the video and look at the position in peace for a moment.. usually there is a bishop in the back somewhere guarding or something very catastrophic on the horizon so the oponent can't take and must react preamtively.
Then play games, a lot of games and analyze them later. You are going to lose 99% of them, but will learn
