  • The edible wild plants park Ewilpa® is an ecologically valuable habitat in which the collection and harvesting of wild herbs and fruits are expressly permitted. It has been open in the Bergkurpark in Bad Pyrmont since the summer of 2020 and since then has attracted people all year round who enjoy the changing gifts of nature. Over 300 edible trees and shrubs were planted and countless wild perennials and herbs were sown. A public themed path about three kilometers long leads guests to a total of 13 different stations in the park. The circular route was initiated by the Ewilpa® North Germany representative Ute Mühlbauer.
If you want to get to know a large variety of edible wild plants, you should definitely make a detour to Bad Pyrmont. With the wild collecting opportunities there is a constant coming and going. So it's worth visiting the Ewilpa® not just once, but several times and also at different times of the year. Display boards on site help to get to know the characteristic edible wild plants of the respective areas.
