Hello Amelia, well done getting so many garments made for frugal 22. Your children's clothes are beautiful and your dress is gorgeous. The lilac material suits you so well and such a lovely floaty dress. Love your Bloomsbury blouse in the cotton lawn. Hope you have a good weekend. 🌻
Thank you so much Phaedra. The blouse is so fun to wear with all those ruffles, and I can't wait to wear the dress in the summer! Thanks for watching. ❤
I think my great would love skirts and t-shirts from the patterns you used. And the sundress is beautiful.
I am glad you liked the patterns Jennett. I think the skirt is so comfortable and easy for her to wear. And my boys keep reaching for their t-shirts. I hope you enjoy making them for your grandchildren! ❤
Brilliant! I loved the Barcelona dress too but hesitated because, like you, a shift is NOT flattering on me at all. Your solution is so good that I'm having a "Duh!" moment, like why didn't I think of that!? Well done. Love your channel.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I am glad you liked my Barcelona hack. I think it is such a pretty top design, so I am glad to have found a dress hack for it! Thanks so much for watching. ❤
My nieces are always asking me to sew for and with them. That little skirt is perfect for using up scraps and I think my nieces would each love to have one! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for watching Anita! The little skirt was so quick to sew, and she has loved wearing it. I hope you enjoy making it too! ❤
Can you believe I'm still catching up with all these frugal videos lol. Your makes are fab. I'll have to try the bobbins & buttons shorts for my boys xx
Thank you so much Karen. The bobbins and buttons shorts are so quick to make, and the boys have loved wearing them. I have just cut out two more pairs for my daughter. It is going to be a well used and much loved pattern for me I think! ❤
Wow! Six garments! I like making PJ’s for my grandchildren. They all love dinosaurs; even my granddaughter! She loves pink, so I need dinosaurs in a pink print😊Tee shirt pattern is really nice…I will be looking that one up🥰
Your daughter’s skirt is adorable!
Cheryl
Thank you Cheryl. I think making pyjamas is so much fun, and they get so much wear out of them too! The t-shirt pattern turned out so nicely. I think I am going to get a lot of use out of that in years to come! 😊
Love the dress. Great pattern & fabric pairing & I think the tiered skirt works really well👌
Thank you Dawn! I think it will be a great dress for the summer. ❤
Fab makes Amelia! I love the ABB tee too for my children, such a nice free pattern. The little skirt for your daughter is adorable with the bottom frill detail. And your dress is lovely too, fingers crossed for some summery weather now! x
Thank you Cath! I definitely have my fingers crossed for some lovely, warm weather this summer! ❤
It’s been years since I made clothes for myself but you have inspired me. I have ordered a simple dress pattern to see if I still have the skills. Thanks Amelia! 😊
Thank you so much for your lovely comment Cath. I am so glad you are getting back into sewing again and hope you enjoy making your dress! ❤
Gorgeous makes as always Amelia, thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you so much for watching! ❤
Love them all! Wonderful Barcelona dress!
Thank you Karol. I really enjoyed making the Barcelona dress. ❤
Great makes for you and your children. I love your dress with the tiers. I have an assortment of quarter yards and half meters of Liberty Tana lawn to make that adorable skirt for my granddaughter. (I bought some of the lawn here in the US and some directly from Liberty London, hence the mix of yards and meters.) Thanks, Amelia.
I am so glad you enjoyed the video Nan! I bet the Liberty fabrics will look stunning as that little skirt! Thank you so much for watching. ❤
Great makes for everyone.. You are an amazing seamstress.. good job
Thank you so much Cindy, that is very kind of you! ❤

All of your makes turned out lovely. I'm sure your sons will enjoy wearing their new t-shirt/shorts set. Your little girls skirt is divine! She will LOVE twirling around in that one.
I really like the hack you did to make your sundress. The color definitely says spring and it made up beautifully.
Thank you Katrina! The boys are enjoying their new sets already, which is lovely. I can't wait for the warmer weather to arrive so that I can wear my new dress!

Thank you Karen! ❤
Lovely makes. Your dress is beautiful 💕
Thank you! I think the dress was my favourite make this month! ❤
Both the garments you have made for yourself are dreamy 😍 and the items for your children are super too! I have made several simple skirts for my granddaughters but nothing for the boys so far, so thanks for sharing the shorts pattern, which I shall definitely download 🙏 Have a wonderful time on the beach when the weather turns warmer again!
Thank you so much Mara. I really enjoyed the challenge and it was so lovely to make things for everyone. The shorts pattern was really lovely to sew up and the boys have worn their pairs so much already, so I can definitely recommend it, as can they! Thank you so much for watching. 😊❤
Hello! I love the dress you made for yourself. It’s beautiful!

All of your makes are fabulous 😊
Having 6 grandchildren you’ve given me lots of ideas 🥰
Thank you Lynne! I am glad you got some ideas from my vlogs. I was so pleased with these patterns. They were lovely to sew and look great on the children. Thanks for watching! ❤
A fantastic video as always and beautiful makes. I love the skirt for your daughter and I will definitely be checking out the shorts pattern for my son's. Your dress hack is so beautiful too. Xxx
Thank you so much Clare! The skirt was a fun make, and I can definitely recommend the shorts. They sewed up so quickly, and my little boy hasn't taken his pair off since I made them! Thanks for watching. ❤
Beautiful makes as always Amelia. I am just downloading the shorts pattern. I have the fabrics ready for the little girls skirt. Thank you.
Thank you for watching Mary. I am glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you enjoy sewing up the shorts and the skirt! ❤
I always love your videos and makes Amelia! Thank you for sharing all of the details. I would love to try to recreate your beautiful dress! I’ll also be making my children some of those shorts for the summer ☀️
Thank you so much Lauren. The shorts turned out so well and I will definitely be making more for my boys. I hope you enjoy making them too! 😊❤
Lovely dress on you, sweet things for your children. You have my mum's middle name.
Thank you Heather. It was so much fun sewing up these patterns for the challenge. ❤
Oh my goodness, I love, love, LOVE your Barcelona dress and how you hacked it!! Shift dresses don’t work for me either. I’ve had tiers on the brain lately and have wanted to incorporate them into some kind of summer dress. You totally inspired me with this make. I have a similar pattern with shoulder ties so hopefully I can give it a go this year 🤩
Thank you so much Rikki. I am glad you liked the Barcelona dress hack and hope you enjoy making your own version! It was a fun make and I think I will get a lot of wear out of it this summer. ❤
👍👀✂️👍
Thank you for watching!
Never too many ruffles!
I wholeheartedly agree! 😂❤
Amelia, is the bodice on the Barcelona dress lined? It is lovely on you. I wondered whether you had raised the back as it is too low to wear a bra with, going by the website photos.
Hi Sandra, the bodice is lined and I didn't raise the back. I do tie the ties quite close to the bodice, which makes it high enough to wear a bra underneath. I hope that helps!
I love your makes and that blouse is beautiful. I agree about the ruffles. I think what you’ve gone for is better.
I have a question for you regarding the t-shirt you made for your boys. Apologies but long explanation it’s on its way - I’ve been wanting to make a t-shirt dress for my niece who is 9 years old and I thought of using that pattern. She lives in another country and I’ve been given her measurements but I’m not sure what size to cut for her. My concern is that her shoulder width (measured from the back by my mum who is a dress maker) is 38 cm which seems to be even bigger than the biggest size. Would you mind telling me what your son’s shoulder width is? Sorry for the lengthy explanation but I thought I’d put it into context.
Your daughter’s skirt is very cute and I really like the fabrics you went for 😊
Hi Noelia, thank you for your comment. I checked my son's measurements again and his shoulder width is about 38cm. For reference, his chest measurement is 74cm. I made him the size 9, in the regular size, which fits him really nicely.
I hope that helps! ❤
@@sewamelia thanks Amelia, that is so kind ok you to check 😊. My niece’s chest is 70cm so it’s very similar so it sounds like size 9 should be ok. It’s so difficult to make something for someone when not near them.
@@mnoeliarc It is so hard! But so appreciated, I'm sure! ❤
So beautiful! May I ask how much fabric did you Barcelona dress take with the tiers? TY x
Thank you! The Barcelona Dress took about 3m of fabric to make.
@@sewamelia Thank you so much! x
Considering how cute lolita fashion is there is no such thing as too many ruffles.
I totally agree! ❤
No such thing as too many ruffles or sparkles!
I totally agree Diane! 😊❤
That little skirt ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I have to make that! Love all your makes Amelia. Fab!
Thank you! The little skirt was so quick and easy and will get so much wear I think - the perfect kids pattern! Thanks so much for watching! ❤
