    Watching your insta reels I am now an avid slow runner, I have found I feel way more comfortable and proud when you get back and don't want to throw up😂

    I wear my running vest almost any time I do something outside. Hiking, walking, running, and more recently I've discovered that it's PERFECT for gardening! Why wouldn't I want to wear something that gives me extra pockets, AND a water pouch on the back?? Yes pleeeease.

    You made me think about getting a running vest. I saw you wearing one and realized I'm influenced by some imaginary scale if I deserve a vest (because I wanted to "earn" my vest with a distance, omg what) or an opinion of imaginary "cool" runner, and if he would approve me wearing a vest. Even typing it out loud is ridiculous. It's such a struggle finding shorts and leggings with a pocket on my lower back for my phone (I refuse to wear those with a pocket on one leg). I can't imagine how sad someone has to be to actually gatekeep vests and harass girls online.

    Love this! I've been following your account and it's made me feel so much better and confident to go at my own pace. do you incorporate walking into your runs, or do you aim to only run?

      Thank you! That makes me so happy. I do a mixture of solid runs and also run/walk splits depending on the type of run I'm doing.

    I've ran the Brighton marathon twice. It's an amazing atmosphere with crowd support on almost all of the course. The first 8-9 miles can be hilly so be cautious of that.

    ngl I get pretty paranoid running 5ks with vest on while seeing people running more than 10k without one but glad im not alone haha

    Hello love your content and thanks for sharing :) Never run a race before but been on and off slow running for a few years. My max has probably been 5 miles. You are so inspiring - thoughts on complete beginners training for a marathon with no other race experience 😅? Tempted to sign up to one!

      Also you said you are doing pre training and training for your marathon. Would you advise that? Worried about over training!

      Hey! Thank you :) I'm no expert but my advice would be to get a running plan to build up your distance gradually, so if you book a marathon make sure to give yourself a good amount of time that you feel comfortable with. Mine isn't until April next year which feels achievable for me running 3 x per week. I really feel like I need to do a couple of plans to build up my fitness and endurance which is why I started early, it also means I will be less likely to get injured as I haven't shocked my body, I'm increasing the miles gradually.       It’s from Truestrap! I think they’re sold out you should be able to find a similar one on Amazon 😇
