- Clean your base up and easily access all your wood with this machine that automatically sorts all your wood for you, and allows you easy access to your wood when you need it.

Required materials (for just one container):
Fill with main wood of your choice (I did pine for mine):
• 12 Large Tiles
• 3 Skinny smooth walls
Fill with ice wood OR wood of choice (Ice wood is lower friction so things get stuck less often):
• 2 1/4 ice wedges
• 1 1/4x1 wedge
Fill with wood that will be sorted (Use a different wood for each container you build):
• 1 Small tile
• 1 Tiny piece of loose wood
The rest of the materials:
• 3 Glass doors
• 1 Straight Conveyor
• 1 Funnel Conveyor
• 1 Straight Conveyor Switch Right
• 1 Wood Detector
• 2 Signal sustains
• 1 Wire

Correction:
Fir and pine are detected differently despite being the same color, so you may want a separate bin for each of those--though pine is much bigger so I never find myself collecting fir.
Also, after making this video, a new type of wood, blue spruce, was added.
Therefore, there are now 19 different types of wood, so if you want to sort all of them, you will need to build 19 containers rather than the 17 I originally mentioned in the video.

I've been wondering this but, do you have a tutorial for auto unloader?... like some advantage that uses the hatches and ice just like what you uses. i couldn't find another tutorial than the 5 year one.

The fact your videos goes straight to the point and the animations are so good is insane, most tutorials have a long explaination and the actual tutorial is like quarter the way to the end. You make the best tutorials ever, and your intro is shorter than orther intros and I like it.

Just make the signal sustain max delayed, if it's still too laggy just play in a server with less people (servers > sort to "ascending" > join a server with 1 person) (or buy a private server).

I adjust the signal sustain so that every time a wood gets detected
it adjust the time for more of that wood to enter and after the that there is no delay this means that no different wood can enter the container the adjust on both is seven seconds

Edit: I would recommend that you put a turn conveyor at the last container instead of a switch conveyor.
It's probably because he can extend the machine easily

some people do like sorting long wood so a way for it to not get stuck is make the containers another large floor longer and add another conveyor that way it wont get stuck as easily on the wedge on the funnel
You should do more of these builds episode, I think is nice to watch and learn

For people saying wood is getting stuck fact is it always will it's a bug with the straight conveyor switch right/left where the wood can get stuck in it and if another piece behind it lands in just the right spot it will completely block the conveyor there is no fix and likely never will be

when i used to finish the frist container, the wood detector doesnt stand still and make the wood go across the next one, i tried to put another signal delay, (i got 3) and everything is the same, i dont know if the signal doesnt go across the delay sistem, but some wood fall into, and another some doesnt, soo idk what to do. I have a question, when I send my block of wood to be sorted, it just stays in the middle of the switch conveyor and I always have to throw it in. Can you please tell me why that is?

I have a problem witch the wood is always getting stuck when the left switcher conveyer switches and the wood keeps getting stuck in the middle of turns idk why but i think its lag or smth else i keep rejoining but still dosent work

That turn you built for the bigger pieces either doesnt work anymore, or I cant figure it out. The game wont let me place 2 conveyors next to each other like that.

Storage is great for when you are a builder but it does take up 2 5ths of a base. What is why if your base has a theme going its great to build a building around it.
Yeah understand. I plan on building walls around my wood things like auto cutter and sorter só I don't get confused of how much room it takes but it is fine because I can simply buy some more land😂
