I don't really know anymore because PSG3 is kinda dead, probably too late to make tutorials on that game now lol.
Okay so for the shop guy ignore him he is useless. To unlock your building area you gotta give that one guy 2k coins which you can get easily from selling stacks of wood and rock for 495 each. Do missions like the scientist guy and the guy you give 2k coins to and they will give you some important stuff and you need to unlock daily spin. Don't buy gem book from shop
The way to unlock new gear is through the 2k coin guy so you can build things. Do his missions to get a free crafting table. I don't recommend going any further since they have changed the recipes for some of the item quests and made them easier to craft. Sadly I am already pretty far so I wasted a good amount. Work on getting copper tools as fast as possible and play solo till your good at dodging and have worked on some gear. Playing as a new player with a group will halt progress and make the game stupid hard with the hp increase. The first weapon is extremely weak so with 2-4 players the mobs will take forever to kill and you will likely get hit before they die

Yeah, I hope someday there will be a Cowbeans game that has a lot more replayability, its playerbase would surely grow.
