My brother got deployed to Afghanistan in 2014 serving with the Australian army, 3 months into his deployment he surprised me at my school and he had no fingers on the left side of his hand and he was serverely bruced and had deep holes in him from bullets and an I.E.D which stole his fingers.
But what kills me everytime I think about this is that the two guys that were next to him took the most from the explosion one getting killed instantly and the other loosing his left leg and left arm and punctured his left lung, he died 4 months later because of his wounds.
Thankyou to your brother for serving our country and I truly feel sorry for him after losing his fingers and for having bullet wombs. I am part of the air force cadets and I'm only 13 but now it is making me contemplate joining the air force or not. But it is what it is I guess.

My boyfriend comes home in 22 days after being gone for 90. I keep rewatching this & I understand how much saying goodbye to someone you love very much can hurt. It feels as if half of your heart is taken when they leave. And it’s surreal until they walk away. But love keeps us together. I miss my best friend & I can’t wait to hug him again and enjoy his presence. Love is very strong and no distance can break that bond. God bless you & your family. Thanks for the video❤️💯🇺🇸

My favorite military couple. The time he spends talking to his sons is astounding and love he has for his boys and wife is so heartwarming. I saw the video of his homecoming 6 months later and it was just as amazing. Hope all is well for this family.

this is exactly how I was when three of my friends were deployed, I couldn't handle saying bye to them so I just had their girlfriends say goodbye to them for me ! , one of them is at boot camp and the other two hopefully will be done with deployment soon ! I pray every night they are safe and make it home to their loved ones safe and sound ! my oldest cousin is a marine I was really young when he met me as a matter a fact I was only a baby though I'm not used to seeing my friends leave one of them surprised me with his girlfriend at a carnival in my town I was completely speechless he was only home for the weekend but I was extremely happy to have seen him and his girlfriend was nothing but smiles :) growing up in didn't think I would have a family member wanting to be a marine and I honestly didn't think I would have friends who would wanna go into the army I am proud of all 4 of them and cannot wait to hopefully see them soon :)
