- Riding my DIY snow bike modification - The ultimate snow MTB! I built a snow bike and went for a test ride in snow covered England. I go full speed, hit kicker ramp jumps and even some urban MTB freeride, would you ride this?
I woke up to a dreamland of snow which covered my hometown and most of England so the first thing I did was build a sick snow bike using an old snowboard, my Haibike dirt jump bike and some imagination before heading out to try riding my new ultimate snow MTB! I start the ride off at a local snow park that gets filled up whenever snow comes to Colchester which doesn't happen very often hence all the huge crowds! After getting the hang of the bike I move to a new location and try some more daring tricks, which of course end in disaster! After dusting myself down I head over to a perfect location to build up the MTB Hopper kicker ramp and try to send it, but will it work?? After a few crashes and a serious slow motion video we head further into town to hit a full speed run down one of the steepest hills in town before attempting a sick urban MTB freeride spot! I'm so happy with how this custom made snow mountain bike turned out and with endless snow forecast over the next week I'm hoping to get in a few more sick sessions with this thing! The bike is brakeless of course but that doesn't matter when soft snow is all around you and most of the time i just crash riding it anyway so who needs brakes, would you ride this machine?

Haha yes 😂 Man I’ve been messing around with my own ski bike the last while and the scariest part is definitely when the skis want to slide sideways going off jumps! Seems as though you need to hit the jump on one of the ski edges. Good times!

Paul, how are you doing Dec 8 2021?? Hope you are well. I know the feeling of not loving life at the moment. I go through waves of good, even great, but then down again. Been sucking these last few days, but Sam certainly puts a smile on my face.
I bought an ebike (NCM Moscow) back in June and have just surpassed 2600km. It has really given many many happy moments. It is soooo fun. I can and do ride a regular bike as well, but the ebike is such a blast!
Watching Sam has me determined to learn some jumps and stuff, at nearly twice his age (b '62) I won't be getting up to everything, but jumps and 'stairs of doom' 100% in the near future.
Do you have a bike of any sort? The fresh air, sunshine, scenery, even snow really helps me a lot.
I am geared up now to ride all winter, maybe some snow jumps are in order.

My new bike came the same day as when it snowed so I couldn’t go to any of the forest trails

They actually sell proper attachments for mountain bikes to convert them to fit...even gives them a lift so u can still keep pedals on
There is a company that builds real snowbikes (i dont know the name tho) , i think Paul the Punter made a vid about this.

This is the most snow we’ve had in about 50 years
we had half a day snow in bristol :(
We’ve gotten that much snow every day for the last two months haha. Weird thinking of snow as unusual when you get 120 inches a year.
