Same as Baker he's going to have surgery in the off-season to so what are you talking about. Mahomes foot injury was known before the playoffs even started. Brady had to get knee surgery like the week after the super bowl. Both i would guess are worse than a non throwing shoulder. They both played through it and got to the SB 90% of the league probably has some sort of injury and half probably need surgery they don't cry about it as much as Baker or get talked about as much as people like skip do so you don't hear about it.
The entire second half of this season I have been wondering, why are the Browns trying to be an Air-it-out team with Chubb and Hunt on the roster? The Browns were good when you asked Baker to be a game manager who made some play action passes... Why is he throwing all 3 downs? It makes no sense.

As an Eagles fan, I also keep an eye on Cleveland and like to see them do well. Watching them all year, Mayfield is the problem, it's clear as daylight. Even last year, he wasn't that special and was mostly bailed out by Hunt and Chubb. When it gets to the third down you know the ball is soon to change hands again. Otherwise the Browns are a pretty good team

He was great last year cuz defenses would load the box to stop the run which is the obvious move with hunt/Chubb. This year he was terrible even with a loaded box. Hunts injury hurt them. Look at browns start to season with Chubb and hunt healthy. Baker is fine if everything else is good but he’s not an elite or exceptional qb.

Its too much to overcome. You got weak receivers who get no separation, no offensive tackles and a hurt QB. You can see when he throws it just flutters a lot of the time he can’t get any power on his throws. He already isn’t elite, he’s solid but when you add a terrible injury and take away his blocking there’s just no way it can work there’s not enough left.
