Not an area that I visit very often but Roseberry Topping is well worth a walk if you are in the area, especially in spring when the bluebells are in bloom.
When I was around 9, I moved to England from America and settled into a small house near Middlesbrough more easily than I thought was possible. For the two years I stayed, my father and I went on adventures beyond anything I have seen to this day, one of them being Roseberry Topping. I still remember walking the same path, and standing in the same shooting box. I cannot express how much this video meant to me. Thank you for letting me relive my childhood.
Thanks for that great comment, glad that you enjoyed it and that it brought back some good memories.
Top notch Andy great video a Hill still on my list to do 😊👍🏻
Thanks Andrew, now is a good time to head over, just as the bluebells are coming out. Just a lal stroll for you :)
A great walk Andy, I always enjoy a trip over to the NYM and Roseberry Topping must be the jewel in it's crown!
A lovely video, cheers Alistair 👍
Thanks for watching and commenting Alistair. Yes it's certainly a grand little walk.
Great video, Andy. I’ve been meaning to visit Roseberry Topping for years but never got round to it. Looks a great walk and one for the future.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, its a great place to visit.
Thanks again Andy. It is a pleasure watching both of you showing us those places.
Thank you for watching and commenting Alberto, glad that you enjoyed it.
So happy to see your walk is back 😀🧡💚
Thank you Michele.
Benn climbing Roseberry Topping since I was a kid and still do to this day, always a great view and normally a busy summit too. We went for the bluebells and wild garlic second week in May last year and will be back again for more of the same this year too, as when they are both fully out it is one hell of a show there, cheers Alan
Thanks for watching and commenting Alan. Actually must confess that this was the first visit for me but we plan to return. We were there just a little bit early for the spring flowers.
I love watching walks on CZcams. It’s both inspiring and refreshing.
Thank you
@@AndyBeckTeesdale Actually, thank you 😊.
Lovely video Andy.
Did this walk twice in one week last year about the same time as i remember the bluebells coming out, taking different routes to the top.
You were lucky to find it so quiet.
Thank you Jim, both for watching and for taking time to comment. Yes, we were surprised that it was so quiet when we reached the top. Perhaps due to it being late afternoon md-week?
Went back here today, there is a massive mine underneath all of this. Yu can still spot the signs of the past. Beautiful area.
Yes, I feature the tramway for the ironstone quarry in the film
Thank you for taking me along with your walking. I truly enjoyed the adventure.
Thank you for watching and taking time to comment Sharon. Glad that you enjoyed it.
Enjoyed this walk I don't know the area to well but Ill be doing this walk soon, I hope, regards, Colin.
Thanks for the comment Colin. I have to admit that I have only scratched the surface of places to walk over in that area but Roseberry Topping is a good place to start. The bluebells and spring flowers that bloom in the coming weeks will make a visit worth while.
99 like very nice video hello 💯🙋🏻♀️✅💯👍 7:57
Fantastic. Really glad to see you back on the walking videos Andy. Are you planning any more?
Hi Steven. Thanks for watching and for taking time to comment. Yes, I have about 9 walking films in my archive which are ready for editing. Just really busy at the minute on the run up to show season but hope to get more online soon. Watch this space.
@Andy Beck great stuff Andy. Will look forward to those.
Lovely video Andy. Looks like a great little hill and a really nice walk. Nice to see you and Bailey out enjoying yourselves.
Thank you Alan. It's a popular walking area and rightly so. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Oh my stars I'm so glad you're back in the wilds again! I've been missing these and rewatching your old ones. They're the perfect way to make me feel at peace! Thanks Andy for this one, as usual it's so very beautiful. My bucket list dream is to visit the UK and do some of your hikes... and all that blooming gorse is absolutely stunning!!!
Thank you Melissa, hopefully there will be more walk videos posted shortly, just very busy at the moment.
Good video, so walking that route how long did it take you??
Hi, apologies for the delay in replying. It takes me longer as I do all the filming but I reckon 2 hours at a reasonable pace with a couple of stops.
