Do want to add that this is not the full story, yet this is what the developers consider a baseline to know about the game, problem is that it doesn’t actually tell so much. The actual story content is tied to “Collections” tab, and a LOT of texts are untranslated from Chinese. This game will be very hard to hook unless you like the game mechanic and the songs that are in it, as the story and explanation of why the things as they are is practically nonexistent. I can add some notes: - Legacy chapter doesn’t require you to clear the entire pack, but does require you to get 5 A-ranks on any song in that folder - The unlock methods will be the same for any difficulty, but you will not be able access higher difficulties of songs you unlock unless you clear the difficulty higher. - Most songs on Ch. 8 usually require to get S on tracks, so you will have to work HARD to unlock them - Chapter 7 actually goes through game’s history and shows you how the game evolved over time - Chapter 8 will outright disable the pause button for songs after Retribution, so treat songs like it and ahead as charts of no return - The animated background of Retribution is actually a gauge. This is important to know especially on Secret Song II, as failing that will lead you back to start. During Secret Song I unlock path, it will be in the end, but failing that gauge will immediately let you pass to SS1. You don’t need to maintain any specific criteria (for example 70% to pass), but you should not make the background disappear either, as that will count as instant fail. - Ch.8 SS1 should not be counted as the Bad Ending of sorts, rather as a very tough gatekeeper. - You might notice that the background in Luminescence starts to dim. It’s important to note that you should NOT miss ANY notes during that background dim, or you will not be able to proceed (tip: the holds there are double holds, so you will have to use your both hands) - Retribution SS2: to reach that blue background, the red background, as stated above, will become a gauge. White is normal, and will allow you to accumulate it, while red will gradually deplete. If you reached blue background, you’re guaranteed saved, and allowed to go to SS2. - SS2, even though with special effects, doesn’t have any special conditions! Play and enjoy the end of the world~ - Clearing Ch.8 right now will let watch final credits for the game and more importantly, unlock a new special folder called “Phigros”. That will unlock three things: dedicated folder for EVERY song in the game for your convenience, a dedicated hard mode (dubbed Challenge Mode) with harder timings and requiring you to clear three songs in a row with no retries, and, as of Side Story 3 update, a dedicated Revisit button for retrying special effects and unlocks once again. I would also love to leave some tips: - Do check Collections regularly! Every story unlocked there will grant you some MB to collect, so you can unlock more songs in Single collection. - Before tackling any story mode chapters beyond Ch.7, I would HIGHLY recommend you to complete other packs too. They will sharpen your skill and prepare you more for (admittedly absurd) unlock mechanics that are main story chapters. I would suggest you be RKS 13.5 to start grinding those (it’s easy to get!) - You don’t need to replay Clock Paradox every time if you want to train in Chronostasis. It’s located in a pack called “Rising Sun Trax Collection” - Some special songs have additional fourth difficulty called AT, which is achieved by getting an S on the IN difficulty. If you wanna tackle AT charts, I am sending you good luck, you will f…ing need it 😅 - You should try getting in touch with the community as they will actually help you get into the game’s strategy faster than you think! I would suggest a place on Reddit called r/phigrosgame, specifically joining that community’s discord. The community also does 1v1 matchmaking games on spot. 35:50 at the bad ending the white part of the background on the screen is the "health gauge" which displays your health as you go on at the final drop you can see that the health gauge is *slowly* turning red. that's your health. if you get a miss the health drops faster until you "die" which brings you to the cutscene 43:54 on the good ending the health gauge turns blue which means that you are immune to the health gauge which means that at the final drop that even if you miss it doesnt do anything because you are... well... immune
There are actually different ways to unlock spasmodic: -First three songs get Full Combo on any -Remei and Guru get 6 bad and miss or lower Oh yeah and you must get at least an A on the guru first. There are plenty of other important information you didn’t state but this is an amazing video regardless.

I think you forgot to say that on Chapter 6, once you're playing Retribution, you can no longer pause the game. So it's basically a no turning back point.

SPOILER After playing Chariot, you are taken to Retribution immediately. Finishing this will take you to D321 immediately, and you unlock and play the charts. Then you unlock Luminescence by opening Chariot and flipping your device. FC from the drop (background dims and fireworks happen) to the end and you’ll be taken to Retri again, and this time when you survive the song you get to Distorted Fate.

@@Xiriline so in this game there are 4 difficulties (EZ, HD, IN, AT). If you're new to the game, you need to get an S to the HD difficulty to unlock the IN difficulty. But once your RKS (the numbers below your username) reach 11 or higher, all INs are automatically unlocked (in singles pack). In collab packs and main story chapters, you need to get at least an A on the IN diff. of the first song in the pack to unlock the IN of the next song (if the IN diff is too hard for u, just do the same process in HD to unlock the next song). Lastly, not all songs have AT difficulty. You can unlock it by getting an S on the IN difficulty (though in lanota pack, there is a specific way to unlock the ATs) . All boss songs have AT and some other non-boss songs.
I was playing all the songs on hard and I cannot express how frustrated I was with glaciaxions rule being someone who can only play with two fingers 😭 even on hard it was a STRUGGLE
It definitely takes time to get better. Started around a year ago and with phigros being my first and only rhythm game I can still only play with 2 fingers. But eventually with time it gets a lot better and analysis as well as finger speed get better.
@@brooksyang5834 I think part of the problem is the fact I mostly play enstars/pjsk which are both two finger games (until you get to special/master maps but I mean that’s a beast of their own)
