    Hi Jess. I like both types of videos but I have to say I really like to hear your thought processes as you make the cards. That is part of the fun for me and I always pick up another tidbit of information from you and all crafters I enjoy watching. Thanks for all of your work and sharing your templates!

    Jess your videos are such good instructional content. I really appreciate you sharing your thought process behind each cut and card design. Thank you so much!

  • @lindalovescrafting4551

    Beautiful work, as usual. 😊The insights and possible changes are great. Those cards are so nice. I am sure anyone in the military would like having one. I like the longer instructional videos best. Have fun crafting!

    I so love your videos!! Especially any with the Doodlebug brand! I get so much inspiration from these, I run to my craft room to see what I have to use your ideas. Thank you so much for all the hard work and new ideas!

    Jess, I really like these live, longer videos with your thoughts reasoning included. It gives me time to sit and drink my morning coffee while watching you create. I just bought this Doodlebug paper pad yesterday!

    Also, I love my guillotine trimmer too! I have a Tonic one. Those slider cutters are really good for scrapbookers who are gutting paper but I hated how ragged the cuts were unless you had a brand new blade. The post it note trick was smart. I also have tape/marks on my cutter to remind me of my common cut lines. It helps me stay focused and make fewer mistakes, especially when I’m mass producing.

    Great cards. Like this format especially for new crafters. I’m an experienced card maker and love your cutting guides and sketches and would like this format occasionally but for me, I prefer the voice over method. My suggestion is mix it up. It’s more important to help beginners or those who need assistance choosing papers. I can always fast forward.

    I don’t always have time for chatty long videos but I crafted along with you today, finishing up a bunch of random cards I had started ages ago, so this was perfect. Last week I finished using up the 12x12 paper pack of this Doodlebug collection for a red white and blue foster kids 9/11 card drive, such fun papers to work with.

      So glad to hear the longer video worked. I definitely won't always do them, but I also like to craft along to longer videos sometimes. What a wonderful way to bless others with your cardmaking!

    I’ve been a stamper for DECADES, and remember when One Sheet Wonder was a hot topic. I really didn’t love them, some looked so meh. But Jess, 😍 you took the best part of OSW and classed it up. Awesome!! I’ve been binge watching your videos and thought I should say Kudos!

    If you didn’t mind a small possible waste and the extra time it would take, you could trim this particular flag pattern so that each strip was just one flag. It would have worked but the measurements might have been different.

    A white embossed sentiment would likely work well on the blue of the second card. Either white ink embossed with clear powder or white embossing powder.

    I do like this type of video where you basically give us all your tips and tricks! But, I do want to say that I probably don't always have the time to watch simply because of the length. I love that your videos are usually under 15 minutes ❤ Your cards and templates are always awesome 🎆 TFS and for all of your time spent creating.

    Thanks you explain it very well. I am new to card making.
    How much was your cutter ? Tape dispenser name ?

    • @JessCrafts
      @JessCrafts  Před 2 měsíci

      Thank you. My cutter was between $30-40. The tape dispenser is a Scotch Advanced Tape Glider.
