Beautiful patriotic cards, Christie! Love the patterned paper by Photoplay. I’m glad that you showed us what you do for the inside of the card and also the stamps you used on the back. I haven’t seen any videos of yours before where you show what you do with the inside of the card, so it was very nice to see that. I actually thought you made the cards to give to the facility so that the residents could pick out cards to send to their friends and families. Didn’t realize you were the actual sender. 😉. I’m giving cards I make to my mom now for her to send out. She is now in an Assisted Living facility. I went to live with her in February to get her and so my plans got put on hold to do card/scrapbooking videos during that time. I had back surgery a month ago, so my sister wanted to place her rather than hire extra help while I recovered (more surgeries in future…hips/foot ugh…and reason why mom went to AL). 😢 I have to say back surgery was the easiest surgery I’ve had over the years. 👏
When you print the card sketches you show on videos, do you copy/paste the sketches onto cardstock and how many sketches do you put onto one sheet? Looks like by the size you must print at least two. Then what do you use to store them in? Thank you for all you do creating and sending cards to the elderly in the facility near you. Hoping you are doing better since the of your mom. Crafty Al here on YT (another card maker) just recently lost her mom as well. My mother is 87 with Parkinson’s. She’s lived a good life dedicating herself to us 3 kids. I’ll be 65 in October myself but cannot fathom the thought without her here although I know it’s coming in the few years ahead. Again, thank you for all the cards you make and send. Makes patients feel loved. ❤❤❤

Great cards! I appreciate the extra time you take to hand write a message in each card, as well as decorate the envelopes. So many residents in nursing homes have few visitors and I’m sure they enjoy receiving your cards. Penny did a great job on the tulip design for your new stamp.

Thank you! I looked at that collection. It's super cute and the designs are perfect. Unfortunately, there are several sheets with glitter that sheds. The pack I looked at had loose glitter everywhere. Not ideal for cards going to the retirement home.

Yes I have and it is very cute. It would be perfect for Independence Day cards, but not really for Veteran's Day cards. I would love something that works for both.
