I made this! It turned out so beautiful
I've tried making a few of the 5 piece units from the second step. I used paper that was coloured on just one side and it really didn't look nice. On another test I curled one piece clock wise and the other counter clock wise by mistake. So that's something you need to be mindful of while curling. Other than that the instructions seem to work well. Looking forward to having enough coloured paper to make a full sphere.

I just made it from used A4 for printer. In case of me, making two hemispheres and assembling these is easier than instruction.

How big do you make your circle
I too made it watching the previous video of star ball ...but at first I don't know how I did that but after I realized that I used the formula to work,.......thank you I made 3 such balls
Thanks for this vid. The problem is that i can’t divide the circle to three equal parts. Is there any tips on how to divide equally?
This is the most difficult part, the paper is already soft trying to make three equal parts
Have you tried and used paper that is around 80 gsm? I admit that this project is quite intricate and requires a lot of patience. Once you get the hang of dividing and twirling. You are almost there.

Construction paper is great for this purpose.
