Linkin Park, System of Down, and Rise Against got me through Iraq in the early 2000's (was in the 82nd). Loved that Fort Minor album, as well.
i first head LP when i was about 7 years old and they immediately became my favorite band, ever since then I listened to them everyday until I learned the news about chester. to this day, i still can't listen to them without feeling heavy.

Thank you so much for taking my request!!! I know it’s a sad song, but it’s on a whole new level for breaking the wall and making the audience feel the emotions. You could hear the pain in the instruments! The storm of glass that looked like a blizzard and could make you feel cold and lonely like someone was taken from you. I miss Chester and it still is one of the only celebrity deaths that has ever affected me. Their music helped me get through most of my life, the good and bad. I’m glad to have found your channel, it started with searching for people who reacted to Pennywise vs The Joker and now I’m here for the ride! Thank you for always being there for people and being such a kind person.

Linkin Park will be one of the artists I’ll still be listening to when I’m 60+ years old. They’re amazing. If you hadn’t heard of the Collision Course album with Jay Z, it’s really good. Highly recommend. It’s a mashup of LP and JZ songs, mixed up beats and lyrics, about 6 or so tracks
