Wow-what a great video I had never seen it, to be honest. I liked the song but never watched the video. What a powerful video it was. the kid following his dad's footsteps to join the military but becoming the guy who has to tell the families that their loved one has passed away.

You should check out the Medal of Honor Warfighter version by Udara Pathirage. This was actually on that game and they did an amazing showing the pieces of the story of that game. That was actually the first time I heard this song was on that game. Yep I'm a gaming need! 🤓😂

I think yall missed (literally looked away at that moment) the transition as the kid put on the cap to him as an adult in the military himself and it was him that was the one delivering the bad news at the end, creating another crack in the castle of glass in the form of the girl continuing the cycle.

that song hit me really hard. because at my work i receive a phone call and it was my mom, i was like hello mommy everything alright and the only word she said was " honey i got worse news grandfather passed away. when i hear thoses words, i drop my phone and cry and my boss saw me crying and told to go now and please take a days off i didn't say words just left. so please to everyone just hugs and say you love them your love one and family 🙏🏼
For anyone confused, the boy at the beginning was told his father died, his father was a navy seal, so as the boy grew up he became a navy seal and had to tell another child that their father was dead just as he was told when he was a boy
My cousin is the wife of a seal and she has gone to more funerals than she ever wanted to in her life.

So if you look up the lore in this video, it basically explains what happened after the events of Medal of Honor and leads into Medal of Honor Warfighter. So the boy in the beginning is the main character/protagonist in the game Medal of Honor Warfighter. His name is Tom (Forgot the last name) a.k.a Preacher of AFO Neptune. He finds out that his father never made it back home and heads down into the basement to find his father's things including his hat and medal of honor. Throughout the video, you start to see Mother and his wife, Voodoo and Preachers wife. Different missions and events throughout the game. At the end, you see a marine in full uniform (Preacher) telling a little girl that her father didn't make it back. That little girl was the daughter of Medal of Honor protagonist Rabbit (nicknamed for the rabbit foot charm he carried) who was killed in action on top of Taku Ghar in Afghanistan during an operation carried out by Tier 1 units notably AFO Wolf Pack and AFO Neptune. After the events of Medal of Honor, the remaining soldiers of AFO Neptune and Wolfpack form Task Force Black Bird

Though I have never been in the military I have often told my family that if the SHTF and they can't find me go look 200 yards behind the first line of defense on the nearest beach. There they will probably find me in some foxhole shot to pieces, but I hope I will be surrounded by empty shell casings and at least a few dead enemies.

First off Jon Bellion, a man 100x more known in the music industry as an amazing songwriter and producer for an extreme variety of artists & genres. But his own discography is incredible as a stand alone demonstration of his talent.
I'd say one of the best songs to start your Jon Bellion journey, that demonstrates some of his versatility is called New York Soul II. If you do a reaction to that for me, I'll add some more of my favorites to suggest.
The second artist is the duo of twenty one pilots. They're one of my all time favorite bands, their music & the fan community and movement they've created has literally changed my life.
