I’m fan of Pierre’s show. I’ve never heard D’lai jokes before but it was funny and respectfully presented. Pierre said art is art even if you don’t like it. Then immediately got offended about the trans joke, because he has trans “friends”. For those that are familiar with the comedy styles of D’lai and Billy, then we already knew the drama regarding the sex and the marriage. D’lai and Pierre agreed off camera (as with most every interview you have ever watched to include Oprah and CNN) the guest/talent mgr review the scope of the interview and set limitation/restriction to topics. Pierre reneged and is flaw for that.

I think when it comes to the topic of trans people alot of people don't use logic. Maybe some comedians could possibly write a few jokes that don't make trans people seem like aliens or losers or crybabies. For the people that don't understand why it escalated like that you need to know the back story. In the midst of them falling out, Billy Sorrels claimed he and D'Lai had some freaky shit going on some years ago. So, and this is JUST A GUESS, I think Pierre was about to use them already being on an LGBT topic to lead into that and D'Lai saw it coming.
