I listened to this whole podcast and I did really enjoy it however my critique is that lex never really pushed him in regards to how he has made amends with all of his victims. He served some jail time 5 1/2 years, he also admitted that he was still committing crime all throughout his working with the government. My question that lex should have asked is “ what have you actively done and are doing to make right all that you have done wrong?” Like in the show my name is earl. He should have gone back to find the lady he beat senselessly in an elevator at the age of 15 and make amends, step 1 then go on and on for the rest of his life trying to undo all his manipulative and destructive actions. Because this man even said it himself he was a truly horrible human being. I can’t help but think that maybe even now he is manipulating lex and doing all of this to make money and gain a reputation as a cyber security consultant. From listening to everything he said in the podcast I came away really feeling like this man is a sociopath at the very least. he shows emotion in the podcast but I feel like I’m being manipulated even as the listener at times.

In my former job I worked with 10 - 20 people like this guy. So many awful stories, I can only describe them as ugly geeks with no conscience or morals. Super selfish. Those were some terrible 11 years of my life.

@@erichaynes7502 if you don’t mind me asking what field of work was that? It is hard to decipher the master manipulators at times. This man is definitely a sociopath, I really wish lex had pushed back harder against his morals. It was hard for me to believe that this man really changed

@@behindthedesign. I'm just curious but are you qualified to make that diagnosis

@@Rctdcttecededtef No I am not professionally qualified. I have read a few psychology books by Freud, Nietzsche and Jung. I also have had a deep curiosity since being a child as to why humans manipulate each other socially. From basic observation, if you listen/ watch the whole podcast there are moments where he “reveals”. I can not say anything for certain but there is a lot of evidence that his upbringing either hereditary or environmentally developed him into a sociopath just like his mother. Also I am 23 so I have limited years of experience to pull from. I do believe that it truly takes a high level of disconnect to commit the sort of crimes he has committed. Ultimately ruining some of his victims lives.

@@behindthedesign. I'll just say I was working in an office with dozens of people and there was only so much work it probably could have been handled by 10 or less people. The worst ones were probably bad from when they were a kid, terrible high school students, nonathletic, picked on, hated people, selfish etc. I tell people to become a professional at something specific, not some general knowledge about computers and not some unskilled labor. I've known med techs, firemen, teachers, radio broadcasters, pilots, lawyers, doctors, supply clerks, cargo loaders, tank drivers..heck even tennis instructors..all these jobs are good jobs compared to working in an office with an anti-social loser.
