Thank you, that’s a huge compliment! It’s kind of ironic that doing these videos has been the main reason for incorporating more performance aspects into my production process. Especially the ‘real time arranging with a MIDI controller’ thing, which was born out of the need to save time.. it turns out it’s a much more organic, creative way of building arrangements than using a mouse on the timeline.

Hey Tony, top video dank! Ik had nog een vraagje. Ik ben aan het twijfelen tussen de Perkons (nog even sparen) en de LXR (eurorrack versie). Ik heb al een digitak, digitone en een volle rack brute 6U en maak vooral techno en breakbeat. Denk je dat de LRX genoeg biedt voor een ruime sample source of toch wachten tot ik de Perkons kan betalen? Dank alvast voor je tijd!

Goeie vraag, ik wilde eigenlijk een Perkons maar vond hem te duur, daarom ben ik voor de LXR gegaan.. de Perkons klinkt wel heel vet en is super intuïtief te bedienen, je hebt letterlijk nul uitleg nodig om meteen het soort beats te maken waar je blij van wordt! De LXR klinkt goed en is best veelzijdig maar mist die intuïtieve bediening. Ik ben inmiddels overgestapt op een Roland TR-8S; veelzijdiger dan beide Erica drum machines en ook heel gemakkelijk te bedienen.
