    We've been to Myrtle Beach thrice in the last five years. I think we'll make it more of tradition to go every year. We live a lot closer to Va Beach, but we love how flat the beaches are. You can walk out like...100 ft and the water would be around your waist. That and there is just more to do in Myrtle than in Va Beach.
    We'll definitely try camping one year.

      Thanks! We are all about chilling and enjoying our space and nature when camping. I am getting the camping itch now that winter is coming to an end.

    We just got back this week from Myrtle Beach State Park…. Absolutely Fantastic Time!! Highly Recommend and we will definitely return!! FYI, this was our very first camping trip and we were in site 58…. Also, if you like donuts, you gotta try Donut Man! The Best Crullers, Ever!! Just as a heads up, Myrtle Beach State Park doesn’t allow alcohol…..

    You two kids, plus the pup did a great job on this video, I will be riding my bike from East texas to camp there soon. I already have my reservations, it is a stop for me. I seen on another video , the air port is close, I am old and get up early so, that wont be too big of a deal for me. I am just hoping its cooler for tent camping than it is her in east texas right now. Thanks again for the video and have a blessed week.
    New sub here, yall keep up the fun videos.

    I converted from the air mattress to an XL Cot with a 2 inch foam topper. No regrets.

      @SundayRidesOver We were actually just discussing this the other day. I think we may try to buy 1 cot at a time to see how we like it. Thanks for the recommendation!

      I switched from a double air mattress to a cot/mattress setup. I have 2 cots. Like the REI cot the best

      We have never regretted it. One time we had some neighbors in a 30ft pull trailer tell us that we had more stuff in that tent than they had on their rig. Lol. So I guess it has to be big for all of our junk. Thanks so much for watching!

    Hey guys! Great video. We might be headed to the state park next week. We don't splurge on expensive campgrounds like this very often, but we might break the piggy bank for this one. Do you have any thoughts on the best site, closest to the beach? We have a 20 foot travel trailer.

    • @letsgoadventures5270
      @letsgoadventures5270  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for viewing! Not sure if you’ve checked out a park map but they have a number of full hookup with sewer sites. That’s probably your first choice. I have a link to it below for reference. (FYI sewer sites are in white)
      We stayed in 65a and had a decent pull trailer beside us in 65 and across from us in 66. There was plenty of room. You can see it in the video around us. (They didn’t have sewer though)
      If you’re going to the beach, those sites around the front right side of the campground ( 1-15, 25-39, 65-84) are closest to the beach access point. Bring a folding wagon w big wheels if you’re gonna take stuff into the beach. It makes everything easier.
      Lastly call the park and talk to them about what you want to do and they will help you reserve to a good spot. The staff there is really good and helpful.

    Questions, how far is the walk to the beach, cost nightly, campsite wood cost?

    • @letsgoadventures5270
      @letsgoadventures5270  Před 3 lety

      Our campsite was pretty close to the ocean. The walk was maybe about a football field and a half and all paved until you reach the dunes. We brought our own wood but I think it was about $5. I think the nightly rate was $50 or $55 per night.

    It’s say no dogs allowed from 10 to 5 is that true? Just asking because I am going there soon?

    • @letsgoadventures5270
      @letsgoadventures5270  Před 2 lety +1

      it is true during the summer. you have to go before May and after labor day so you and your pooch can goto the beach.
