Hey Liz. Back in 2017 when i was 53 years old after several years of increasing knee pain, difficulty sitting to standing, stairs were so difficult and walking in general was challenging and after getting the gel shots i opted for surgery. I was bone on bone and i had the robotic surgery...total knee replacement...it is customized to you. Now at 60 i am doing great, walking, riding a bike, climbing stairs, easily get up from sitting. I am very happy with this decision. Quality of life has returned ❤

I absolutely identify with your chronic pain issues. I don't know how you do all that you do for us and your family. I've had a horrible couple of months, really years, so I know what you go through. Of course we'd like to see you work one on one with subscribers. We could all benefit from that. Even if you just do a haul video or q & a video or some other chatty format, we'll happily watch. You are what we tune in for - the decorating is a bonus. No matter what you decide on, we'll all watch and leave with the feeling of being cheered up by your sweet, sunny personality. And don't say, "Oh, she doesn't know what I'm like behind the scenes." Yes, you're probably just like the rest of us - not perfect. But that's what makes you real and natural on camera. Good luck with all these new endeavors.

Liz, I worked as a clinical manager in an Orthopaedic office for 41 years. The gel injections helped the majority of our patients. The trick is getting the insurance company to cover them. There are single shot ones, and ones that are once a week for three weeks. We had better results with the three shots. Good luck!

I worked for rheumatologist for years not clinical and I understand your osteoarthritis situation. I am sure your viewers are excited for the new channel. About 5 yrs ago I suffered with my knee. I walked with a cane and at times I could not walk. I sympathiz greatly with you. I hesitate to even tell you how my knee is fine today, because it sounds impossible to do. I bought 1st cold pressed olive oil and ingested 1 T spoon in the morning and 1 at evening. I chased it down with orange juice. After about 3 weeks my knee was healed. I promise that is all I did and my knee is fine today. I would love if it could help someone else if they are willing to try it.
Love your idea. I'm not technical enough to send videos, but seeing other people space would be a learning experience 🎉
Liz you presented the audio section of this video very well! It intrigued me and especially as you said to find products that are more esthetically pleasing for the home and more economical too!

Hi Liz! I've been waiting for the day "Ask Liz" would come to life! I think it's a fabulous idea. As for your gel, from experience, if they offer the gel shot they call "one and done" take advantage of it. This is one complete shot and does not require you returning for 4 weeks in a row to complete your injections. I've done both, but the one shot was just as good with less hassle. One needle is always better than 4! I wish you well with your new channel. Your potential is unlimited! Praying that your knee treatments work.

Girl. I am you. I have tried the carnivore diet and I’m pain free. Just in case you doubt me I’ll include the chair in my kitchen and shower to confirm I couldn’t stand for more than a minute and forget walking…ugh. Pray about it and maybe try it. You’re amazing and you deserve to be pain free. 😅
Yes, the carnivore diet has amazing benefits.
I tried it for a few months and noticed a significant reduction in pain and also inflammation, it WORKS! I’m trying to talk myself back into it. I love veggies so that is what I start missing most. Nothing feels better than being pain free, so I really should get back to it. Thx for the reminder. I’m so sorry you have struggled with pain and walking, I’m glad you are doing much better, friend! As an apt mgr I recently tweaked my right knee carrying shower doors down the stairs. The pain increased as the days went on. I am praying for you Liz as you go through this. You're a young ;woman and I hope you get relief. BTW, you always have the best music running through your videos.........Continued Blessings and prayer.
Liz, knee replacement was one of the best health decisions I have made. When you do it you will think, why did I wait so long. Hope the injections keep working for you.
I absolutely love this idea. My living room is an odd shape, and I have no idea how to style it to use the most space for the living area.
So sorry to hear about your knees. I get it. My husband had both knees done & both hips. The knees were much worse than the hips. But now he’s glad he had them all done. And I have a bad back & can no longer stand for long periods anymore. I’m always sitting for everything from makeup & hair to preparing dinner, such as cutting up veggies etc. No fun. Love your idea of helping us decorate problem areas too. How nice of you to do that for us not so talented fans. And your audio channel sounds very interesting also. My husband has had both knees operated on, he put it off til he couldn’t anymore
They kept getting worse but now he’s doing alot better
Last surgery was right after we bought our house in 2022
Surgery is like a last resort for me too

This sounds like a wonderful idea. We live in an old Victorian house with fireplaces that have pillars and very intricate spaces and they seem impossible to decorate. My granddaughters can possibly help me figure out to send to you for help. Love this idea. Let us know what you decide. Love the music idea, too. Even with bad knees you are an inspiration. I have had both knees done. It was the best thing I’ve ever done!! The pain of surgery was not as bad as before surgery. Go for it!! You won’t regret it

Hi Liz, Fellow knee sufferer here! All the shots do help and I understand you are trying to put surgery off as long as possible, but I've had knee replacement and haven't regretted it for a second. Keep in mind that the younger you are when you do it, the easier it is to recover!!! Don't wait too long. I personally have no interest in the audio thing ( I confess, I hit mute when your music is playing) but I'm sure there is an audience out there for it. I love the opportunity for your viewers to send in videos or photos of their problem areas. Great idea!!!!! I look forward to every video you do so bring it on!!!

Hi Liz, so sorry you have had to deal with so much pain. I too have been diagnosed with Osteo Arthritis. This year has been rough for me also. I had the gel injections in April. I do not regret it at all. It took a few days for improvement BUT I have had great improvement. The pain has gone, for the most of it. Although when I have really overdone it, I have had pain. There is still stiffness but stiffness without pain is much better. Bear in mind, the stiffness has been lessened. Love your idea regarding helping others with their decorating. That sounds fun. Thanks for sharing your beautiful ideas.❤
Hi Liz I am very sorry to hear that you are going through so much suffering, and pain , with your rheumatoid arthritis . I have osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and carpal tunnel on both of my hands. Liz two years ago I had a rotator cuff a year later, I had to do a shoulder replacement, on my right shoulder and that was the best decision I had ever made. I know no one likes the word surgery , very scary word, but sometimes is for the best and your health comes first . I will keep you in my prayers. ps I love the idea that you mentioned on the beginning of the video yes i like the idea . Let me know what i have to do. God bless you and your beautiful family.🙏🏻❤️ I forgot to mention that I might have to do a replacement on my left shoulder and maybe down the line a knee replacement .
I agree with the knee surgery. I suffered for years and couldn't go places with my family because I had to 'sit things out' due to knee pain. I will admit I was afraid to do it, but it got to the point that I cried all the time, I had to go grocery shopping in a wheel chair, no dancing, You get the idea. So I had nothing left in me. I had the surgery and WOW it's the absolute best idea EVER! As someone said, the younger you are, the quicker the recovery. Don't wait too long to do it. You'll wonder why you waited.
