Mbappe is talented, super rich. He is not risking anything with his nose for France.
the Mbappe Giroud partnership is tried and tested and served them well in the last World Cup, its an absolute no brainer that Giroud should be in that CF position, he is the only one that compliments Mbappe and he feeds off of Giroud. Deschamp is just as stubborn as Southgate. any idiot can see this but for some reason he is reluctant to start with Giroud. add to the fact that he is France's record goalscorer as well.
Here’s the problem, Giroud is washed. Deschamps has always trusted Giroud until now, precisely because he is physically declining.
