    The video is clear, but I really wish there was a way to make the second wing flipped so it is on the correct side facing out. Lots of people asking this and you just repeat same thing that it looks the same. But it really doesn't. The wrong side facing out on one wing looks off.

    Hello. Thank yiu so so much. I would like to make the wings larger. I tried several times didn’t work. Yiu started a chain 16. I did ch 20. I kept the ratio exactly the same. It just did not work. Any recommendations I’ll be so grateful.

  • @thewitchhut63

    I'm using white for the outer part and pink for the inner wing, now when I sewed the two "right sides" together with the white and did like you said, pull gently until it disappears, it worked beautifully and the inner wing is cradled inside the outer one. I got 3/4 of the way done on the 2nd wing and realized I was making two left wings, lol. So I pulled it all out and started sewing with the "wrong sides" out...this method of pulling gently to tuck it under the stitch to "hide" it doesn't work. I now have a white line along my pink inner wing. It doesn't hide it at all, plus the inner wing isn't cradled into the outer one like the left wing is. I'm not complaining, I'm just lost as to what to do here because one wing is perfect and the other has a stitched line going around it, lol. I'm thinking that maybe once I'm done with the white, I can go back over the white stitched lines with the pink again to hide the white...?

    • @thewitchhut63
      @thewitchhut63 Před 4 lety

      **Update** It kinda worked. For the most part, stitching over the white with the pink hid the white for the most part. Some white can still be seen, but most of it is covered. So doing this on the right wing might work for others too.

      I didn't design left and right. Make 4 and sew together as shown on the pattern or video.. I never noticed a difference between them once assembled and sewn to the dragon.. there's a slight difference but it's not a distraction

    • @SharonOjala

      So, I found out that pipecleaners over here in EU are much sorter, bristlier and very unbending. I'm using one and a half of those around and only one each time.

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  Před 7 lety

      I've only ever seen them in 2 lengths, I chose the shorter of the 2.. I believe the ones I used were 12 inches. Then there's ones 6 inches longer? I could be wrong. I get mine at a dollar store... or thrift stores when I see them. I just googled it.. sounds like the ones you're using are actual smoking pipe cleaners.. I've never seen those ones in person but it says they are 6inches long. That's too bad, hopefully they do the job!

      I'm not sure why you can't print the pattern but if it's due to the print friendly button on my blog you can also copy and paste. The easiest way to make things bigger is double the strands and use a bigger hook www.amigurumitogo.com/2016/06/crochet-free-dragon-pattern.html
